This is a store that I stop by for last minute food. A month ago, on a Thursday, I needed 5 Asbarez newspapers. I called the store and had them reserve for me. I asked my teenager to pick them up. The lady at the front desk charged her .50 cents each when in bold letters on the front, it says Thursday issues are free. My daughter didn’t pay attention and since this was the first time I had to buy them, I didn’t know it either until she brought them home. $ 2.50 not big deal, but not cool.

If you have not yet ordered your sandwich or your party platters from Shirak Grocery, it’s time to consider. I ordered three weeks ago and could not have been anymore happier with the result. My guests enjoyed the platters and honestly the price is very reasonable. I will definitely order again.

I come here regularly-at least once a month-to stock up on many goodies-fresh-ground Armenian Coffie by the pound, certain Armenian and Middle Eastern beers like Kotayk, and Almaza, olives, feta cheese, fruit tarts, nuts and other yummy things. Many fruit jams, sweets and nectars as well. Even has Armenian wines. The owner, Armen, is very nice and customer-service oriented. Highly recommended.
