This is the second time(I think) I’ve toured a church. While this one was smaller and more quaint than the Duomo in Milan, Italy, it was also awe inspiring. I had no idea what to expect when walking into the convent at Viterbo University. The Franciscan Sisters of Perpetual Adoration have been praying there continuously for nearly 135 years. I think tomorrow is actually the 135 year mark on the dot. The stained glass is amazing, as is the history. There are multiple statues and carvings. Interestingly, the concrete has been treated to look like marble. Could have fooled me for sure! There are far too many stories and too much history for me to properly and respectfully try to summarize in a review. If you’re in the area, and want to do something totally different, take this tour and submit a prayer request. You can even do it online!
