I arrived at this Days Inn around 2:30AM, after a very long drive from Florida. I was supposed to meet two climbing friends who had booked a room here, but alas, they fell asleep and I didn’t know their room number. After my boyfriend attempted to convince me to sleep in a Walmart parking lot, I bit the bullet and decided to dish out the $ 70 to just rent a room for the evening. I called the front desk(all lights were on) from the car, and got no answer. Called again after walking into the lobby, and listened as their phone rang and rang — finally, someone answered … and then promptly hung up on me. Exhausted and on the verge of tears, I attempted to collect myself and finally a man came out from the back office. Albeit, I did wake him up, but if you’re going to run a hotel you have to expect these kinds of situations. The man was RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. Mumbling at me, very short when I tried to be kind, and generally just sour. I understand I’m inconveniencing you at an hour when we would all prefer to be sleeping, but as a paying customer, I expect better service. The rooms were nothing better than mediocre. Starchy sheets, outdated interior, and generally just blah. But hell, a bed is a bed when you’ve been driving for 8 hours.

Bad. Don’t believe the 5 sunbursts on the Days Inn site. Room smelled musty, the east indian people who run the place are never at the front desk and the lobby smells like curry(their appartment is in the back behind the lobby). Not kidding. There were bugs in the room: Big spider in the bathroom, bug crawling on the pillow that I see as it got close to my eye. Fridge barely worked. vanity was cracked. we needed more towels and were told we needed to come get them. Also is not«20 mins from Lookout Mtn» unless you want to go through a very«Urban» area. Avoid at all costs!
