Applebee’s

No wait to be seated. Server was very nice. Drinks and salads out on time. Food took a little long.

Had lunch with a group of 12 neighbors today. There is no large table for a group. They tried to seat us as close together as possible at smaller tables but, this place is NOT GOOD for a group to eat. Also, they have a menu that is way to large with too many selections. They do have a limited lunch menu. Called the combo, you can select from several different things and they change you based on what you order. I ordered the Mac & Cheese and a ½ Turkey sandwich, $ 9.49. The M & C was good but, the slaw they put on the sandwich was so runny it not only covered up the taste of the turkey, it dripped on my hands and face. The service was very good and the food came out quickly so we did not have to wait long. They have a new electronic pad at the tables that you can use to play games, order or pay your bill. It looks like an iPad so we tried to use it. It completely messed up our bills so the server had to do it manually. According to the server there is a problem with them and they have had to report it to their corporate office several times. Appears to be a waste. This place needs much improvement. I gave them 2 stars but, I would give the server, Holly, 5 stars.

SUPER Slow service and Happy Hour at other locations is at 9pm. Here it’s 10. Food had several mistakes and waitress wasn’t very knowledgable about menu items. Worst experience.

Hostess seated us at a table with all dirty chairs. Didn’t offer to wipe them out. Ordered mozzarella sticks for an appetizer which came out barely warm. Bartender was more interested in sitting at the end of the bar on her cellphone than taking care of her customers. 3 of us ordered a burger and all of them came out with only a bun and the burger meat. The menu specified they come with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. We had to ask several times for toppings/​condiments before she got everything corrected. We all had empty glasses and the waitress asked if we wanted a refill. We all said yes. She returned with 1 glass and sat it down. By the time we all finally got a refill one of the glasses was dirty. On top off all of that she messed up our bill when she rang it up.
The burger tasted ok but was a little dry.
Will def not be going back!

terrible service; Shelby took more than 10 minutes to come take our drink order (it was 8 p.m.) and then another delay to get our food order. meatballs in the appetizer cold, as if they just came out of a fridge, even though the sauce was luke warm. Manager not available because they were having internet problems. another waitress was helpful in getting us checked out… Shelby was nowhere to be seen.

Waiter was great. Never waited for a drink and was very friendly. First beer tasted like natural light was to be a bud light. Rest of them tasted fine and long islands were great. Went during happy hour and actually had a good time and didnt break the wallet. I have never been a big fan of applebees but after the other night i may have to hit this place up again sometime soon.

Comfortable place for a beer and the game Low key at a good price. Reliable and consistent quality in Lagrange

We were on our way home from Memphis and ended up here for the evening, and I was about to give this Applebee’s a two star because they had a very limited wine list (four choices– but one of them was ok — the Columbian Crest merlot). Also I got the new turkey/​bacon/​avocado sandwich and it was excellent. My wife also got the shrimp salad and it was also good. Our server, Melanie, was very friendly and efficient, So the bottom line is easily a three star.

Applebee’s is a great family restaurant with a kick. Every other Saturday night they have karaōke which can be fun but it’s loud. They offer a nice variety of entrées and some really great appetizers. Appetizers are ½ price every night after 10pm.

Had dinner with my wife and 2 grandchildren at Applebee’s in LaGrange, KY last night (Friday). We frequent this location about twice a month. We have been coming less because of a drop off in the food quality in the last 6 months or so.
The food isn’t bad. Just not as good as it was in the past.
Last night I ordered the Lemon Parmesan Shrimp. I was extremely disappointed. The described the entrée this way:
Blackened shrimp (medium size pictured) sautéed with tomatoes, onions and basil. Served over creamy rice with a decadent lemon cream sauce and Parmesan cheese.
What I was served was blackened mini shrimp over boiled white rice. A few pieces of diced tomatoes and onions, no creamy sauce or cheese. I squeezed some additional lemon juice on it and it was edible. It was not even close to what is advertised in the menu.
I had started with a bowl of Applebee’s Chicken soup. It was pretty tasty but inconsistent in it’s temperature. Some spoonfuls were hot as they should be. Others were lukewarm at best. Definetly not as good as the Chicken Tortilla soup at Chili’s.
My wife had their riblets and indicated they were fine. And our server was attentive and friendly without being intrusive.
Our overall experience was that this Applebee’s location is average at best. There are other dining locations in Oldham County that offer better food quality.

It’s Applebees. And they suck as a whole. The barmaid was very friendly and attentive. The beer is overpriced, the food is also and blah. It’s the only bar in town so deal with it.

Servers are attentive, food is fresh.
