I have been here a few times, mostly for a nice place to eat some breakfast, sip some coffee, and do some reading or homework. While the early mornings are very busy, there is always a lot of seating available, and the noise level is decent and quickly dies down. Food comes out fast and is good. My favorite part of this place is that there is no loud music blaring from the speakers; I like a place where I can read in peace and actually hear myself think. Lots of elderly folk here, but I personally enjoy it. Waiters are all very friendly yet still very efficient.

This place is my favorite breakfast place ever. It is a must every time I come home. The food is great. The service is great. And I love the fact they have a mix-match collection of coffee mugs. It really does make me feel like I’m at home.

Love Arthur’s! They have the best eggs florentine I’ve ever tried & their potatoes o brien are fiyaaaa! W some fresh OJ. Yum! A lil pricey but you get what you pay for. Even their take out servings are huge! They stay pretty busy on the weekends but if you order before 11 they have a «quickie menu» w cheaper priced dishes :) We come here often enough to know that even when they’re busy there’s never too long of a wait & everyone is super nice! Can’t forget the pancakes

We were pretty excited to go try out the«Best Breakfast in La Habra.» We ordered country fried chicken with side of biscuits and hot links. I think we were served country fried steak, not chicken and it had funky texture to it. We decided to just eat it anyway. Biscuits were ok, and the gravy wasn’t as flavorful as I expected to be. Arthur’s OJ was over the top too sweet, and hot links were way too salty to the point we couldn’t touch them after the first bite. Overall, I was pretty darn disappointed.

What a huge overpriced disappointment! Went there with my adult son on Sunday morning… The pancakes were pasty & heavy, eggs are eggs, potatoes are potatoes, the bacon was burned and supper greasy, the sausage was somehow fibrous and mushy and the coffee was WEAK! Paid way to much for glorified hospital food. So glad I didn’t bring my whole family… and it’s time to update this place. Didn’t find getting my overpriced breakfast on yard sale Corelle plates endearing at all either. Never again!

Love the vibe here, very home-y. The servers are really nice and are always ready to help you. The food is good, especially the breakfast quesadilla. Big portions, so worth the $$. Their OJ is quite different because they add protein powder and eggs(add .40, optional). Not to my liking, but many of my friends and family enjoy it.

Service and food were great! Biscuits are freshly made in-house, and mixed fruit comes with kiwi, mango, guava, apples, oranges, and melon.

Went on a Thursday, and it wasn’t too busy with a lot of employees working still. Tons of open seats — I could have sat myself. Nobody is stationed in the front of their restaurant as a host., and the«host» was my waiter also. Pretty fast service, a wide variety. Didn’t like the fact that their gravy had bacon in it, but also on their menu they list«country gravy» and«bacon gravy» separately but the host said they’re the same? Ok — then list it the same on your menu please. Doubt they’ll change since apparently they’ve been around a while. I really did enjoy my vegetarian breakfast here though, and the orange juice freshly squeezed. A little pricey to be honest almost every meal is over 10 bucks for breakfast unless you order off their«quickie» menu. Worth the try. Also, mon-fri if you bring in a coffee mug they can keep, you get free coffee.

3.5 Stars for legendary Arthur’s Called«The Best Breakfast in town» and is owned by Arthur’s son(Arthur is the original owner). The location is close and is touted as «The Professors» favorite casual place for his«usual fancy toast» before a full day of teaching. The La Habra location has been operating since 1984. Many restaurants go out of business within the first two years of opening and I pondered what was so special about Arthur’s? Our coffee came in unique mugs(great) and never cold. Professor ordered French toast(as always) and it disappeared along with communication. I ordered the Eggs Benedict with veggies. Great quality breakfast and French hollandaise sauce with a hint of lemon(yes in La Habra, CA). The portion size was ample enough to take the«yummy-overs» home to share with family and get their opinion. Servers were great, made presence known, were courteous and answered questions. Arthur’s has a most unique décor(see photos) and we heard about a secret«c-mug» offer. Ask your server about it when you are seated. Arthur’s is a tradition in northern Orange County, it offers a hearty breakfast at reasonable prices and is drizzled in drops of excellence. Arthur’s is a definite place to try(don’t let the strip mall fool you) and find the Gold(like its yellow signs) in the northeast corner right side of Starbucks. Could not slap any wrists for false advertising, as Arthur’s is «The Best Breakfast in town» and consistently for the last three decades(impressive). I plan to visit when back in town as I heard the O’Brien potatoes are a signature Arthur’s favorite.

The first thing we noticed was the coffee mugs were not washed properly. We ordered four coffee before our breakfast and all four coffee mugs were not washed properly and dirty. The place looked dirty too. The food was very good and the service was excellent. But we felt not comfortable eating in this place after we realized this place needs some cleaning.

It’s your typical mom and pop coffee shop with wood tables, condiments already on the table, and a huge breakfast selection with huge portions to match it. It is located in the back of a dilapidated strip mall, next to a Dollar Tree, and behind a Starbucks on the corner, with a yellow sign that says«Best Breakfast in Town». As one Unilocaler said, it’s not the best I’ve had, but it wasn’t bad, either. We came in on a Saturday around 10:30 am, and there were 3 parties ahead of us. We wrote our name down, and the waiting area is configured in such a way, you can’t really tell how busy it is on the other side of the wall. The dining room is divided into 2 sections, and we were seated in the area by the kitchen. We were immediately offered coffee, which were served in whatever mug they picked up at Big Lots or probably even Dollar Tree. Stephen had a mug with Santa, while I had a Venice souvenir looking mug. Coffee wasn’t the best. I think they said it was Yuban. It’s definitely not a strong coffee, but it did have some flavor to it. Pretty much, it’s coffee you expect from a well, coffee shop. The«Special of the Month» was their housemade Corned Beef Hash, for $ 9.95, which normally was $ 12.95. Included with the hash was 3 eggs, choice of potatoes and choice of bread. We chose their O’Brien potatoes which supposedly had bell peppers and onions… we just got onions. We chose their«famous» biscuits as our bread, and added a side of Bacon gravy for $ 1.75 more. The staff was kind enough to split our plate for us, and I’m thankful they did. It was plenty of food for 2 of us, and we left satisfied, and not in a food coma. Was it the«best» breakfast we had? Nope. but the service was friendly, they were accommodating, and they let us split their food without a fuss. For me, that’s better than A-OK and I’d come back again.

After living in the area all these years and hearing all the hype about having the best breakfast in town, we decided to give this place a try. The corned beef hash was dry and had an abundance of green onions, the hash browns were burnt(which I was surprised the cook/waitress still let come to our table), and the biscuits were like something from a pop open can. The only thing good was our sunny side up eggs hardly not worth paying almost $ 30. Sadly, I have to give 2 thumbs down based on our experience.

Liked my breakfast. Loved the service. Definitely worth a visit. Arthur’s orange juice is the best ever. Although the corned-beef hash wasn’t as good as my mom’s, it was the best I’ve had in any café or restaurant. English muffins were perfectly grilled. Yes, grilled not toasted. Hash browns are just hash browns. Eggs were a little over done, but okay. Coffee was good. Best of all, the Service was excellent. I was seated right away, coffee and OJ were brought quickly. My Food was prepared quickly and served at the perfect temperature. I highly recommend you try Arthur’s OJ and the corned-beef hash. And if you go on the weekend, ask for Dana! She’s awesome!

This place is great! Their food is delicious and their customer service is awesome! The décor is definitely different. It has a country diner type of theme with quirky signs. I love how they use mismatched coffee cups. As far as their food goes, I love their steak & eggs with O’Brien potatoes! Delicious! Their eggs benedict are one of my favorites as well. I recently tried their Arthur’s OJ, tastes just like orange bang, I loved it! Definitely a place to check out.

This might have been«the Best Breakfast in Town» years ago when no other restaurants were around Now the sign should read«Just mediocre«should’ve realized because nobody was waiting to be seated. The three other breakfast places we went to first were packed & people waited outside. Got a coffee & Arthurs OJ to go. Hostess was an annoying airhead taking the order. Tipped her a dollar for the Togo drinks. Then realized after she short changed us with a Canadian coin. Katie the manager had the nerve to say they got it from the bank. Seriously, do you bank in Canada?

First, the portions are big. The eggs Benedict are more cowboy eggs Benedict with a half pound ham steak over English muffins topped with 3 poached eggs slathered in hollandaise sauce. Don’t get me wrong, it was a delicious interpretation of a classic, but a bit heavy for my taste. Was it worth $ 12.00+? Sure. Eggs Benedict is usually about $ 9.00-$ 10.00 so given the portion size, it’s about right. Now, the corned beef hash is something entirely different. They actually use real corned beef that is finely chopped. No canned meat here. That being said, I was rather disappointed with all that freshness, the flavor was rather bland. A touch more salt would have made a big difference. Also, the hash came with potatoes so that’s really a lot of potatoes. The eggs, which were supposed to be over easy, were over hard. The side of French toast was delicious, albeit cold. Was this worth $ 12.00+? No, not really. So, the verdict is… definitely worth trying, but not to go. Bring a hearty appetite and don’t expect classical interpretations of standard breakfast fare. Is it the best breakfast in town? Hardly.

Late breakfast early lunch today. Not too crowded– 10 minute wait Food — great! Cheeseburger, chili size, and biscuits and gravy. Burgers were awesome! ½ lb, handmade patties from ground chuck. Great flavor. My chili size had a nice homemade chili over the burger patty with cheese and onions. It was delicious! My wife enjoyed her biscuits and gravy as well. Very thick gravy. Prices good, service great, food great! 5 stars today!

My first time at this Arthurs Coffee Shop and it was because mom and pops wanted to eat some good old fashioned American Style breakfast. This is the place to be and on the weekdays they also do have breakfast specials that are worth the price and it is pretty much super cheap! I like the inside of this place it reminds me of something a little bit more like a country setting somewhere in the middle states. Our waitress was really nice and gave us water with a slice of lemon it it. We ordered three different breakfast I believe my mom had the pancakes and my dad had some kind of eggs with bacon, I ordered the corned beef and hash was delicious. I have to be eating more meat all the time so anywhere I go I tend to really order it up and this one was pretty good! The city of La Habra does have some pretty cool looking places to grab a bite to eat with family! Loved it here and would probably come back.

Went to catch breakfast right before church and landed at Arthur’s Coffee Shop in La Habra. Photo: veggie omelette with Country Style Potatoes(O’Brien), a side of bacon, and Arthur’s Famous Biscuits. The veggie omelette was packed with hearty veggies including carrots and broccoli! That was definitely unique for me as an omelette eater… The potatoes were delicious without being too salty(huge thing for most places). The bacon was perfectly crisp and chewy. Mmm, bacon. The biscuits were warm and delicious, definitely worth eating a bit of that with butter or jam. Or both. I paired this with a cup of their drip coffee, it was perfectly balanced and I actually enjoyed it very much at this breakfast joint. Sunday was not too busy, we only waited about 15 minutes and we were in and out in less than an hour. The bathrooms were kinda small but there was a bathroom for each gender and two stalls(at least for the lady side). The service was pretty good, no complaints, they came to check up on us a few times. They made sure we had plenty of water and coffee for our meal. Their catch phrase is that they are the«greatest breakfast in La Habra». Honestly, it’s pretty good, man. It isn’t so trendy and hipster like the new places, but you’ll get your basic breakfast here and it has a few frills of its own. This place is definitely better than the cheap-y diners and I really liked it. I’d say definitely don’t pass this place up, I think I’ll be back.
