No grass-fed beef or organic chicken. I’d like to talk about the quality of the food but it really doesn’t matter how good the food is when the establishment doesn’t care enough about quality starting material. When I called to ask if they used grass-fed beef, they said they use 100% ground beef; what a joke.

A solid burger place that isn’t a huge chain? G Burger is definitely one of these — a mixture between gourmet burgers and a casual diner with one of my favorite burgers to date. So first impressions are a little off. It’s a bit small with a small-ish parking lot(there’s some limited street parking) and the restaurant itself isn’t too big and a little hot on summer days. From there, though, the impressions start to change first with the service. Really appreciated our cashier who was super friendly and helped with our order. Sitting at the table too showed a much more fancier restaurant(and our server was super nice too). Let’s get to the main part — the burger. There are about 6 – 7 different choices ranging from the normal hamburger to some more fascinating options like a garlic spinach burger. For the first go-around, we just got a normal cheeseburger(about $ 7). There were a bunch of extra toppings, though, we put on there(for a pretty cheap price) including an egg, avocado, fried onions. We also added garlic Parmesan fries for about $ 5(they have other options too like fried zucchini and onion rings). –The fries were pretty good. They were very crispy if you’re into that and the garlic Parmesan was terrific and not too potent. –The main star though was the burger. You can choose how it’s cooked(we got medium rare) and the meat quality was absolutely terrific. It was juicy and flavorful and a good size(bigger than an Umami but not as huge as say Fatburger). All of the added ingredients were also well distributed and all-around, it was just a really solid burger. The table also had other condiments like sriracha, ketchup and Tapatio. G Burger may not wow from its initial look but if you love burgers, I think it’s a worth a look-see for one of my personal new favorites.

I came to G-burger after biking 28 miles with my colleagues. The parking lot here is small. Cheese Burger with fried egg and avocado:I asked for medium-rare, and the angus beef patty was super juicy and tasty. Since the burger is on the oily side, the bun sucked the oil and made the whole burger fell apart easily. G-Burger:it was the tallest burger I have ever seen. It has all the possible toppings; bacon, fried egg, pineapple, double meat, avocado, lettuce, cheese, mushrooms, etc. It was really a hassle to eat, and my colleague eventually had to eat one layer at a time. I would say the G-Burger was good for taking picture but not enjoyable for eating. G style Fries:kind of like In-N-Out animal style fries, but more delicious!!! The fries was already seasoned, so tasted flavorful by itself. Next time I will try regular fries. Overall, the quality of their food was excellent, but food coma right after we finished our meal. Service was outstanding and friendly. After ordering the food, the staff will bring the food to your table. Food came fast.

Hands down the best burger and fries I’ve had! It’s not a fancy burger place but the taste of burgers is way better than most of fancy expensive restaurants!

Went here to satisfy my burger craving and got the Caprese burger(so good) and added a fried egg to it. I got the sweet potato fries, also very good with aoli sauce! I felt the restaurant was very laid back and not restaurant-y, if that makes sense. No one is waiting on you or will refill your drink, which I like. The décor was urban cool with the stools and art. I definitely love this place.

This place is like a street away from my work and heard good things about this place. I chose to get a garlic spinach burger($ 9.25) which is sauteed spinach, bacon, tomato, red onions, dijon mustard with a medium well burger with a slice of pepper jack instead of bleu cheese. The burger was moist and was a good size for the price. I also got a side of onion rings($ 5.50) that were well cooked and the ranch tasted great as well, very garlicky to me. The place is pretty clean and the staff is nice, though one girl kept biting her nails when I gave her my order which was distracting since she didn’t really take it out of her mouth to speak so she sounded mumbled. The parking lot is tiny. They take card. They have a Unilocal check-in, you can get a reg drink for free.

In terms of burgers I give this place a 3 stars. The reason is because the selections aren’t that great and they all come with thawed out frozen patties, which I am not a fan of. I like to see that my beef patties are fresh and full of juice and flavor that g burger lacks. HOWEVER, the reason why I give this place a four stars is because, in my opinion, they have the best sweet potato fries that I’ve ever eaten. It was probably because I ate it without any expectations, but damn, I had a mouthgasm. I kept on eating and eating and eating and I couldn’t stop. So yea, they get fours stars for their sweet potato fries. I’ll for sure be back for those… I’m salivating just writing about it haha

Inconsistent, mediocre service with CONSISTENTLY cold food! Really need to focus on to-go order gathering. I refuse to continue to pay money for cold food. After telling employees the food(they just handed) was cold, they refused to make me new burgers. If ordering to-go DEFINITELY pop a finger on your burger to make sure it’s hot before you leave!

Everyone has been ranting about this place. Telling me I need to give it a try. When my friend mentioned it for dinner I decided to give it a try. Overall the food was good the best thing was probably the fries I found myself eating the fries more than the burger. There ketchup was delicious and the burger too. I will keep them at five stars But next time you have paying customers just remover some of us eat slower than others and don’t be rude and in a rush to kick us out after closing. You should be patient you made me feel rushed I didn’t even finish my food. I had to throw it away cause the employee told me its closing time

Why was I under the impression that this place was like a restaurant? Maybe it’s their cool sleek design from the outside, or maybe it’s the name? I came here for the first time and didn’t know what to expect. When I walked in through the door I was very surprised to see that it was just your typical burger joint setup. Few tables here and their, with a bar top, fountain drink machine, and a grill behind the register where you can see your delicious burger being prepared. The menu though is not like the typical burger joint. Not only do they offer sandwiches, salads, and vegetarian foods, but they offer delicious, stacked gourmet burgers as well. They have burgers like the garlic spinach burger, white truffle burger, caprese burger and everyone’s favorite, the G burger. I kept it simple on my first visit and went with the old fashioned cheeseburger with added bacon. Every bite was juicy from the patty and tasted fresh with the delicious veggies inside. I normally throw out my pickles, but I ate those too! Now that I have a better understanding of what to expect, I’m going to make sure and starve myself before I come back for another visit. I want to take on the G-burger and take on its entirety.

This place is sooo good! The food is amazing! What a pleasant surprise! Almost makes you feel like your at a amusement park without the rides. Garlic Parmesan fries are a must and so is the Caprese burger. For those man vs food type of dudes they have an $ 18 burger if your up for the challenge!

Decided to check this place out with a friend one afternoon. Despite all the reviews it had, there was barely anyone there; looked like seating and waiting area was spacious though. I ordered the white truffle burger with sweet potato fries for ~$ 16. The burger itself wasn’t all that special and came out fairly oily and falling apart. The fries were one of the best I’ve ever had.

RANDOM location for this gem of a burger shop Slow ordering process but the food at least came out really fast! We ordered all our patties medium which is still a slight pink –white truffle burger: DELISH the patty was juicy and the white truffle was a great addition –cheeseburger with avocado, fried egg, and bacon: the onions were unfortunately not grilled but this is basically a smaller version of the overkill«g burger». Patty was still juicy but this burger didn’t leave as much of an impression as the white truffle –complimentary small fries & small drink with Unilocal checkin: these seasoned fries are so goooood and the small was plenty for me! Great service!

Saw reviews of this place so I thought I’d try it out! Heard mix reviews from Unilocalers. The place was empty when we were there. We asked which items most people usually get. Cashier suggested the White Truffle Burger and the Caprese Burger, so we ordered both. It’s pretty neat that they ask us how we want our meat to be done. It came out pretty huge and very picturesque. LOL. It was really good, mean was very juicy, so it was a bit messy. I think maybe those paper wraps would have been nice if they had it. The hamburger bun is really good too. It’s the right texture… adds to the burger experience. We also ordered a regular fries and one G Fries. I thought the price of the fries were a bit hefty for their portion size, esp the G fries that’s just adds onions and other stuff. similar to In-N-Out but taste wise, it’s different. I had a lot of stuffing on my fries, so I added it to my friends regular fries. The fries are really good. YUMMM. It’s flavorful by itself, without added stuff on it.

The burgers at G Burger are nicely made. A good amount to choose from and the customer service is good too! I ordered a White Truffle Burger($ 9.50) & my friend got the Caprese Burger($ 9.25), both were well made and tasted great and pretty fresh too. You get to choose how well you want your 100% Angus beef patty to be made, which in my opinion, a nice medium rare is the way to go. The restaurant itself isn’t too bad, nice size for approximately seating for 30 people and they have the usual condiments on the tables as well. Everything was fantastic, just that the average burger is about $ 9 and if you want regular ol’ fries that’s another $ 2.50. If you want to get a little fancy like their G Style Fries, that would be $ 5. The prices are pretty hefty. For a full meal expect to fork up about $ 15. They do have a few salad options which range from $ 7.50 to $ 9.50, as well as a «vegetarian» option which ranges from $ 6.50 to $ 9, which all are okay-ish pricing. Overall, my experience at G Burger was fantastic. Food tasted great, the restaurant atmosphere was nice, customer service is on point, just be prepared to pay about $ 15 if you want a combo meal.

Actually was looking for a place to eat with some girlfriends when we chanced upon this burger place out in La Habra(which I had never heard of before); I figured with a pretty high Unilocal rating, the place had to be known for something, so I figured why not try it out. Well, when I got there, I was slightly disappointed with the outside décor to the restaurant because it looked like your normal neighborhood burger joint where it doesn’t look like it’s very clean inside and was probably empty. Well. I was wrong. When we got in, I noticed that the entire restaurant was filled with customers! Trying to debate whether or not to go order food first or find a seat, we proceeds to head further inside the restaurant to where the kitchen and counter area to order your food was. Depending on which door you enter in from, you can either see the counter first or have to walk more inside to get to the counter. Since they were known for their burgers, that was whatI went with and an order of fries as well. Well, let’s just say that after I paid and got my table card number, got my order about 15 minutes or so later; I devoured the juicy hamburger and semi-crisply grilled bun and finished all my fries as well. I believe what they are known for is their mountain high G burger which is basically a burger that is piled high with patties, onion rings and whatever goodies you want on there from mushrooms, to fries, to bacon, to whatever toppings they had available. Another is their G style fries(which reminds me of Animal Style fries). As I was sitting there, the amount of people ranging from couples to families to locals did no stop. Tip: Free fries and a soda with Unilocal check in!

G-burger stands for gourmet burger. It should stand for Gigantosaurus Burger! We were cruising Whittier Blvd on a Sunday afternoon because my boy was fixated on having pizza from that $ 5 place and I was not feeling it. I entertained him and got pizza for the kids. That’s when I did a local Unilocal check and G-burger showed up. It was about a mile away on La Habra Blvd. It was like fate, G-burger and I were destined to meet. When I saw the pics and read the reviews I put the pedal to the metal and got my booty over there in a flash. From the outside it looks like it was an old burger joint that was given a face lift. Upon entering you walk to the front counter and place your order. They have kid’s meals and my daughter wanted to try the chicken nuggets meal. She barely touched it. My wife ordered the chicken sandwich and she thought it was very good. We all shared some garlic parmesan fries and they were just ok. Now for me this was an experience that I wanted to savor. I went for the G-burger with everything on it. Pastrami! Onion rings! Fried egg! Avocado! And more! You would not believe the size of this thing. It was almost like a legend, Paul Bunyon like. Takes about 15 minutes to prepare. They brought it out with 2 large wood skewers holding it up. Of course I had to get some pics for the post. I had to cut it in half and begin my journey into the abyss. My wife said I would not finish it. She once also told me she would never date me way back in the day but I am not a quitter. I worked on that bad boy. I just cut it in half and went at a bite at a time. It took me a good 30 minutes but I stuffed myself silly. I was definitely on a food high for a few hours. All of those flavors together were out of this world. The server didn’t believe that I ate it all by myself. Service was great and the place was clean. The dining area is small. The tables are about ¾ the size of typical table you would see in a fast food restaurant. Like I mention in my other reviews about calories. If you decide to go with the G-burger you will probably need to plan for it. I’m estimating it is about a good 3000 calories, but who cares because you only live once. Enjoy yourself and the euphoric experience/high you will have after conquering that burger. Happy eating!

Love their Rosemary Turkey burger and fries! What does the G in G Burger stand for anyways? Great Burger? Ginormous Burger? All I know is that it’s delicious. Food comes out quick and after eating here, I don’t have that regret that I usually have after eating at a fast food place. Probably because their food is made fresh with fresh veggies. Def one of my favorite burger places.

Came here today and I am pretty impressed! Burgers are on the pricier side leaning towards $ 10. That being said, it is worth the money! I ordered the Garlic Spinach burger and garlic parmesan fries and I struggled just to eat half of it! What I liked is that I could order the burger medium rare. The burger was on the blander side but I added some salt. It also came with blue cheese and red onions which gave it a bite. One thing I didn’t like was that the bottom bun got soggy almost instantly :( The fries are amazing with the perfect crunch! They remind me of Cajun style without the kick. The garlic Parmesan was a nice ratio of cheesy and garlic-y. Overall I recommend this place, just wish they served beer.

Service — great! All of the(young) people seems to really care what was going on and kept asking how we were doing. Mice to see. Food — great burgers and chili. Location — strange location for this type of restaurant but I’m glad, I live in the area. Plenty of parking. I recommend this place. Prices are good too!

Great burgers and sides at a premium price. I visited this burger place in la habra due to many great reviews from this and others in orange county. I was pleasantly surprised to find out this is truly as good as I have read. A little small place that looks pretty ghetto but not hole in the wall ghetto. I went in and ordered a turkey burger and a veggie burger for my gf. For the sides I got garlic fries and got her some sweet potato fries. All were delicious and very filling. The burgers were cooked perfectly. Not too dry but juicy. The fries were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Very tasty although I can only take so much sweet potato fries and the garlic does become a little overpowering after a while as well. You definitely get your bang for your buck. Below I have listed the pros and cons to this visit. Pro: Big portions. Especially the fries. I was definitely full after my meal. My gf couldn’t even finish hers. Well cooked. As mentioned earlier the burgers were cooked perfectly. Not dry at all. Courteous and friendly servers. The cashier was smiling and courteous and the server whi handed Mr my meal was helpful and friendly when asked what he recommended I should have on the side. He repeatedly asked if I wanted any side condiments. Cons: As great as this place is I gotta say the prices took me back a bit but I understand it is a gourmet burger place that knows how to make them well. For two meals I spent around 30 which is on par for a dine in restaurant but I gotta say the burgers are better. The fries might have been seasoned a bit too much for my taste but still really good. The only condiment I did not like was the chipotle aioli sulauce that came with the sweet potato fries. It was too salty for some reason and did not go well with those fries at all. All in all I would absolutely recommend to come here and I would return here myself. When I have a craving for a gourmet burger. Remember to visit my website for more reviews.

Finally got a chance to try G-Burger. Got myself a Garlic Spinach Burger in Medium Rare.(Garlic Sautéed Spinach, Hickory Bacon, and Bleu Cheese) — photo attached Man…their Burger is Legit. I’ve had some pricey-fancy burger but this is hands down best Burger you can get for $ 9. Sad it’s far from where I live but at the same time I’m glad because I can see myself coming to this place everyday easily adding few more pounds to my love handles. #sundogram

Love this spot! Its reminiscent of an old burger stand. It was rather small but inviting at the same time. Customer service was at an outstanding 5 stars here. From the point of ordering till the time we walked out the door. The G Style Fries are always a win win here. A major step up from In n Out’s animal style fries. The G fire Burger is insanely hot and insanely delicious! Get the fire hydrant ready for those taste buds! The G Burger is a monster itself with all the layers of bacon, fried egg, pineapple, double meat, avocado, lettuce, cheese, mushrooms, etc. Was really hard to eat but so worth the trouble.

the reviews won’t steer you wrong this place is a Hidden Gem in La Habra, the outside you wouldn’t expect to be eating the most juicy mouth watering burgers in your entire existence but today I was Wow out of my seat. I usually don’t go for the high end fancy burger joints I like to keep it to the local mom and pop joints and luckily we found this place while we were in the area. I am glad we did and the service here is great, they bring the food to your table and ask if you need anything or have any questions/concerns. I got the Hamburger with sauce on side Fried egg and my BF got the Cheeseburger with everything on it + Egg. don’t forget to use the check in special of a free fountain beverage but you won’t be disappointed !! I’m definitely coming back again
