Love Jen & Sean! We took our pictures at a local park and they turned out beautifully. It was our first time taking professional family pictures. They were so patient with us, but most importantly they were great with our little ones. Sean is great with the camera and Jen has the creative eye. First of all, I’d like to thank Jacobs AV for taking pictures of me. Sean and Jennifer had great suggestions and ideas on how I should pose for the pictures. Sean is very professional in handling camera and Jennifer provides amazing inputs during the shoot. Definitely I’d recommend them for others!

I had the pleasure of working with the oh so talented Jacobs AV couple just last month. I think it is worth mentioning that it was actually my very first professional shoot, so of course I was a little timid going in. However, as soon as I met both Jennifer & Sean, I was immediately put at ease at how laid-​back they were.
*On the plus side, they had hired a fantastic makeup artist, who also took on hair-​styling, so I didn’t even have to worry about any of that! Come on, who doesn’t love to be pampered, even just a little bit?*
The entire shoot lasted a few hours, but it felt like a whole long adventure! I went in with a naked face, and by night, I was rocking a completely different look that was fiercely more dramatic… I was LOVING it! The Jacobs pretty much helped me transition from thinking «oh god, I don’t really know what I’m doing» to «I GOT THIS!» in just one session. Not only were they extremely open to suggestions, but they also had a good amount of input as to what they wanted (which I personally prefer). There was a great sense of communication and professionalism throughout the session and even before we had met up.
After the shoot, I received the edited photos in a reasonable amount of time, as promised. Gotta say, I was blown away at the outcomes… I could barely recognize myself in some!
I had a blast working with the talented and quirky couple, they are very down to earth as you will come to find once you work with them!

What an amazing dynamic couple~! I went to assist my boyfriend on his shoot with them and they made me feel involved into helping with my boyfriends wardrobe and makeup! I want them to do the couple photos of my boyfriend and me. They are the go to couple and I can’t wait to work with them again. Highly recommended!

Jacobs AV is the dynamic duo of engagement photography. I love them and the shoot turned out TERRIFIC. They really have a great sense of lighting and posed us in ways that turned out soooo sweet and adorable in the pictures. We went to Vroman’s the bookstore my DF and I met and then later on to the Pasadena City Hall. They had such great ideas and I would definitely recommend them!!!
PS — I have to say I look better in these pictures than any other ;)
