Still coming to our favorite spot for Great pizza! I should mention if your there with friends order the stuffed artichoke to share. It’s garlic yumminess! It’s good for one, but when I go I know I want more than one slice of my heavenly pizza so I only order this if I can share. My son loves their pasta with their wonderful alamera sauce. A combination of marinera and alfredo, super yummmm! My family is certainly a Jojo’s family.

I went to the brea location and did not enjoy my pizza. I loved the bruschetta and Stuffed mushrooms and our server, but once I got a taste of our pizza I was very disappointed… Under cooked, doughy tasting, flavor just didn’t taste right, they really went over board on the toppings. On one of my pieces of pizza there was a large chunk of garlic… I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms and Bruschetta but the pizza is a disappointment.

My sixth time trying this place hoping that maybe they were having a bad day; my conclusion… This food is terrible, mostly inconsistent; the service is average at best, prices are to high. This is my last time going back, I have given them the beneifit of the doubt and they failed completely. Worst of all is that the management doesn’t seem to care about the customer; so sad, especially in this economy.

The pizza is alright, especially if you’re using a Groupon to purchase it, but besides that it’s kind of bland. I don’t know if I will be eating here all the time, but for a quick bite it’s alright. The salad was a bit soggy, so I think they should work on that.

The pizza is delicious and the staff was friendly! They just got it repainted and slightly remodeled a few months ago. it looks very open and clean. I liked it.

Ate there on a Groupon. The guy who took our order was VERY nice! We ordered a large peperoni and half mushroom pie and a dinner salad. The pizza was really undercooked. I sent it back to get it a little more cooked and the crust came out burnt. I don’t like undercooked anything nor do I look slicing the roof of my mouth on jagged, crisp edges. The salad was WET at the bottom. So wet that it was soupy. We also ordered wings which were VERY, VERYGOOD! I would come back here again for the beer and wings. Not so much for the pizza or salad.

First time; purchased a Groupon so thought we would try. We ate there; pizza, eggplant parm. First let me start with something nice… the guy that took our order was very nice. Other than that… I would never go back. Food was not very good at all. Sauce tasted like it came direct from a can. That about sums it up.

Not too much exciting here but a good value if you have a coupon. Hand tossed pizza is nice and the family salads are nice too. Good selection of beers on tap. Without a coupon, its not worth it for dinner.

I went to Jo Jo’s Pizza in La Habra and was excited about the pizza there. I had some at a friends house and thought it was good. Liked the fluffy, but substantial bread and thought my wife and I would give it a try… Big mistake. If you want take out, I think that this is there strength, but eating pizza at the restaurant is a big problem. The place had an very open fill to it, but the restaurant tables were not at all organized. If patrons want, they can move the tables around, but that’s not the real problem. The space is just a space without any true organization. When I came in, I did not know patrons could move tables around, so I had to sit far from the two 42 inch flat screens. I really wanted to get a good seat for the Laker game, but that was not going to happen. For a moment, I considered walking out and not putting in my order, but what they heck, I’ll give it a try. Right off the bat I was not impressed with the restaurant at all. From the my vantage, the pizza station looked dirty. This would be the biggest turn off as I waited for my food. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza, an anti-pasta salad, and some drinks. It ended up being over $ 40 dollars. I was hoping that the pizza was going to be awesome, since it cost $ 25. Well my antipasto salad came out and it was good. Huge salad for $ 12, probably could feed 4 – 5 people. The pizza was good, but was not worth the $ 25. Totally way too greasy. I tried to wipe some of the grease off the bottom of the pizza pan, and the napkin was grey from the pan. Overall, was not happy. Biggest problem was the actual upkeep of the restaurant. When I went to the restroom I saw that the toilet seat was missing a piece. Coming out the restroom there were boards, or some type of metal racks on the floor, with supplies on top of the stuff on the floor. I don’t think I will ever go to this pizza place again unless the proprietors work on having a clean and spotless place. If the heart of the restaurant is the restroom, this establishment is on life support.

GREAT pizza and has the vibe and feel of a genuine pizza parlor! Pizza sauce is top 10 in the OC and LA crust cheese ratio is awesome! chicken on your pizza no problem you can have it plain or garlic spiced. The local schools have JOJOs for box personal pizza this is how i got hooked. MIGHTYTASTEY

So I came back last night on Sunday night to give this place an immediate second try following Saturday night’s service botch. The Sunday night guys were great. I don’t think I will ever have anything bad to say about the food– it is great. I came in alone and used one of my buy one get one coupons to get a lasagna and a manicotti– yes I was alone. I talked to a nice guy for the 20 minutes or so that it took to make my food, which was great this guy was a La Habra born and raised with a seven year break in the military– he was great. I took the food home I ate some lasagna and then decided the Manicotti was going to be better fresh and so I dug in and half way throigh I realized there were three Manicotti in the container– nice. I scraped teh sauce off to see what I was dealing with and these are some beautiful Manicotti with tatsty pasta wrapping a ton of cheese with a serious epidermis of melted cheese coats the entire tin container that holds the food– amazing. Joey I only fault the fact that I bought my place here in 2003.

Food was pretty good — overall good portions. Actual plates a little pricey and service left lots to be desired. That said they do have a great lunch buffet special. Would try again!

Following review is based on dine-in this time: I decided to go back to Jojo’s for the 2nd time on a Saturday afternoon about a week ago. I actually saw them on Groupon and decided to buy the special they were offering. The food was good. I really do like their pizza, but this time around I was disappointed with customer service. I went up the register to place my order and while I did, asked a couple of questions about the food items, nothing complicated. The man taking my ordered seem irritated and barely spoke when he answered questions! My experience would have been better if he would have been more friendly and helpful. Not sure if I’ll be going back. most likely not.

Listen here, hombres– for men who know pizza, this place won’t disappoint. Fresh ingredients, delicious sauce, and an ever so burnt/bubbly crust. Dip that in a little ranch, and– ooh, game over. Sure, I’ve had a few pizzas on the wet side, but that’s cause of the mushrooms, not the oil(which comes from the toppings, BTW. if you want less oil, replace the sausage/pepperoni with some arugula/flowers or some crap, if that’s what you’re into, pansy). After eating, there’s nothing really here to make you stay, so pack up and move out once you’re stuffed– maybe congratulate yourself for picking such a great spot. This isn’t a bar. This isn’t an arcade. And judging from previous reviews, it’s not a date spot either. Just come here with a few buds and pig out on that damn pizza. You won’t regret it. In retaliation to some of the other non-pizza reviews, I must say, I never ordered anything other than pizza here, but come on– the place is called Jo Jo’s Pizza Kitchen. Not too difficult to figure out, genius.

I went last Tuesday to dine there after the Farmer’s market. This restaurant has been there for years and finally decided to go inside becuase they were advertising beer for $ 2. What a HUGE mistake. We ordered the pitcher of beer, which was warm. Then we ordered the bruschetta, that was actually pretty good. My husband had the shrimp scampi and I had the risotto. The shrimp scampi was nothing more than oily noodles with 5 medium sized shrimps. Very dissapointing. My risotto, however was a joke. I felt like i was being punked. The risotto to them is white rice with the bruschetta mix, just on top of it, with a few pieces of chicken. Yes this was risotto to them. I didn’t know if to laugh or walk out. I asked them to please pack it so I can give it to my dog. My suggestion is for them to go to an actual restaurant and know what risotto is suppose to look like or taste. Heck go to Trader Joe’s, they have a forzen risotto bag you could take home and cook and it is pretty good, at least it follows was risotto is suppose to taste like and the texture. I could not believe these people put that food in a plate for us. NEVER again will I go back. Having so many good places to eat in Brea, we ended up at the worst one. I am surprise they are still in business. The place was emtpy on what is suppose to be a pretty busy evening, my take is that they won’t be open for long.
