I have been going to Robert for over 10 years! Met him when he was working in downtown Fullerton. Since then I have referred family members, friends, and my daughters to him. I never leave him without being 110% satisfied. The best is knowing you have a hair dresser that you can say to them, «Do what you want» or «what do you think?», and get an honest opinion and leave feeling fantabulous!!! Robert you ROCK, and have always been on point. Sorry my visits have been so far in between, but you will always be my guy! Raddest hairstylist to date!

For the past few years I have been looking for a hair stylist that knows how to work with my thin hair to give it volume and layers and for it to be easy maintenance. Not only Did Rob do all of that but above and beyond! He is so attentive to detail and so careful and will listen to what you like. You can tell that he loves what he does because he puts his heart into it and it shows. Everyone is so friendly at the salon, they make it feel like family. I would recommend this place to anyone! Amazing people and amazing salon.

I’ve been coming with Robert for 3 years. I had to look for a new hair stylist since mine bailed. I’ve always been satisfied with his results. I would recommend him with everyone. The only bad thing is that he’s super busy. But he does fix his schedule if possible. Either way worth the wait.

First time coming here to this salon, I got some awesome results by Courtney. Since my hair did start off jet black, I knew I wouldn’t see the actual results that I wanted right there. Coming from someone who Learned about hair and I do have my license for cosmetology. It will take a few sessions to get the desire color I want. But I strongly suggest coming to see Courtney. She is knowledgeable and knows her skills. I already made my next appointment with Courtney. Remember you guys, start gradual, things take time if you want good results. If you plan on going light in a month from your appointment, get olive shampoo. ;)

So i had done a lot of research before i made an appointment with Brittny. I looked at her instagram, reviews, style seat website and all and she seemed pretty legit. I loved all her instagram pictures and the awesome feedback she received from her clients! I would even tell my coworkers and friends how amazing her work was. I waited a month and a half for my appointment and was really looking forward to. I’ve had the worst hair experiences and believed that she would be the one to change that. I really wanted to do something new so I emailed her asking her if it would only take one session to do balayage, since I was not familiar with the process. She replied to me saying yes and I was glad it was not going to be a hassle. Unfortunately, I did not receive that amazing experience that all her clients seemed to have. I was extremely upset ! When I first walked in to the salon she just quickly looked at me and assumed I was her client by asking ‘5 o clock? «and just pointed at an empty seat. She was not friendly at all and I am HUGE on customer service ! She asked for a pic of what I wanted, looked at my hair, then said it was too dead and that we would have to do three sessions, which i thought she should have mentioned in the email I had sent her. I have few knowledge on hair so i said ok (but i seriously should have asked an estimate of the price) After that she simply put bleach, had it on for a bit and then toner on my hair without a word, had her assistant wash it off, blow dry my hair, and that was IT. I was a bit confused since it all felt so rushed and quick. Her assistant then told me to go to Brittny so she could charge me. So i go and then she does who knows what on her calculator and says that the total is 175, let me mention that the BALAYAGE treatment is 165 and up depending on your hair so i thought 175 for toner and bleach was a rip off. she also mentioned that i would be paying around the same price for my next two sessions, I should’ve said something at the moment but she was busy with another client as she was charging me so i emailed her right as i left my appointment. I expressed how unsatisfied i was with her work, especially since my hair was an orangey copper color and later when i washed it was even more dead !!:(I also hated the fact that her clients reviews shared how informative she was with their hair process but was not at all with me, i didn’t even know what was going on. she replied to my email and said that the price was reasonable for my hair and that i could come back for more toner. Um no i was super pissed and never want to go back with her again! i had this app during summer and I hate my hair to this day, I bought extensions which i have to wear all the time to blend in with my hair so the color won’t look so bad. I STRONGLY REGRET RECOMMENDING HER TO ANYONE BEFORE I HAD MY EXPERIENCE WITH HER

Brittny had been doing my hair for a few years now and has always done an AMAZING job. I trust her to do anything to my hair and trust that when I explain how I want it, she really understands and makes it happen. She works wonders with color blending and is a god with blondes. She is an excellent stylist and has really worked her way to the top. I do recommend booking an appointment as soon as you think you want to try her out. She is booked for quite a while. I’m looking forward to my next day with her!

She is an AMAZING stylist with a special gift for making you look your best! She is the only stylist I have had who truly listens to how I want my hair, but also gracefully gives her honest input. Always a great experience with her :)

I have been coming to Rob (owner) for years now to get my haircut. Not only because the quality of service, but also because Rob is the only person I trust to cut my hair. I’m so happy Rob opened his own salon a few years back and to have had the opportunity to see it grow. For the price you pay you cannot get a better quality haircut. I know the salon does also do women’s hair but he does a great job with men’s hair as well. Not only himself, but his other barbers are all well-​rounded and very skilled. Even though this place is 30 minutes away from me, it is the only place I’ll come to get my hair done.

I’ve been in several times to have my hair cut, colored, and styled by Robert. He never lets me down. He listens to what I want and does his thing. My hair always comes out perfect. The price is in the right range. There are no surprises when it comes to the cost at the end of the visit.

The ambience of this place is two thumbs up! The employees are funny & friendly! Brittny is thee best female hair dresser in town… hands down! Book in advance, if you need something done for a special occasion! Ladies, book an appt with Brittny! She’s amazing! And she made sure she knew my vision 100% before even touching my hair, mainly because it was my virgin hair and I get really picky. If you want to schedule an appt with Brittny, keep in mind she’s booked for a while, please be patient with her but its so worth it. It was my first time there yesterday and all of them are nice talented people. Within my hour and 40 mins of being there (cuz I got an ombré done) sooo many men walked in who appeared to be returning, happy clients so they must do a great job as well. I will definitely be returning!

Rob is an excellent hair stylist for both, men and women. The amount of time he dedicates to each of his clients and styling their hair reflects his level of experience, display of professionalism and focus on customer service. He is keen on attention to detail and is an absolute go-​to guy. Since opening his own salon he has added the support of other stylists who share his same degree of quality and services. I highly recommend Salon Ryu to anyone who is looking to get a top-​notch hair style or look.

The best hair salon around. Robert does the best hair in town. I know many people that go to him and he could do any style you are looking for. The prices are reasonable. He is always so nice and really takes the time to get to know his customers. I personally have got the klertin blowout and extensions from him and of course many different hair colors because I like to change my hair color. and everything comes out perfect. I would never go anywhere else. He also has a barber in there that the guys love. you could tell he’s one of the best barbers around. The guys always look amazing when they leave his chair. Robert also does an awesome job with men hair to. I have referred men and woman to him and everyone talks about how amazing he is. You will never disappointed going here. and not to mention lady’s the guys are good looking.
