I hate to be the one to write a bad review. I never write bad reviews always happy reviews this time I feel I need to warn ppl because it is all 5stars n I didn’t have a good expierence. I’ve went now two times to this salon the first was a $ 250 session for color and the second was a «fix it» both times I left very dissatisfied. I tried so hard to like my hair but the blonde is more of an orange not even two months later and I have maintained it well. ON TOP OF THAT IT WAS NEVER THE SHADE OF BLONDE. I wanted more of an orange any ways. The person I was recommended to was Gabriele by the front desk lady because I let her know I am Hispanic. I wanted to make sure who worked on my hair could manage my thick hair. Which is not extremely thin and has nooo curl pattern due to it being processed and lightened SOOO many times between those two sessions here at Ashen only. The two sessions took over 12 hours in combination. I should’ve known during those times that she wasn’t doing it properly or didn’t know what she was doing. KEEP IN MIND I AM A HAIR SALON VIRGIN. I have never before this time ever paid
to get my hair dyed or dyed it. THE SALON IT SELF IS A PRETTY SALON, in love with the décor but be careful because my hair was ruined here! tried to go back and «fix it» then walked out with a worst result than before.

Ashen Salon is a beautiful salon with an amazing design. They make you feel comfortable the minute you walk in! I get my hair done by Tessa, and she is an amazing hairstylist. I would highly recommend this salon!

I’ve been getting my hair cut by LC (Laura Claire) for a year and a half and she’s just the best! If you have naturally curly/​wavy hair, she’s the one to go to. She’s incredibly detailed oriented and really takes the time to frame curls to your face. Another thing I really appreciate is her suggestions, during my second haircut she suggested an undercut for me and I went along with it. Turns out her suggestion has changed my life since I have a lot of hair and it’s quite thick. I’m no longer worrying about body acne on my back and neck, and my head just doesn’t feel as heavy anymore.
Another thing that LC specializes is short hair. She has short hair herself, so I feel like she just gets women who prefer and love short hair. I usually come in with reference pictures and she magically will give me something that’s even better than the actual reference pictures. LC is also the first stylist to do most of my cut on dry hair, which means that my hair won’t look shorter once it’s dry. Cutting on dry hair also helps her see how my hair naturally dries and that’s when she goes in and starts framing my face.
LC is also super sweet and bubbly, it’s always a complete joy coming to her for a haircut. I highly recommend LC for your next haircut.

I have had the most amazing experiences with Alli Hayes as my stylist! She has been cutting and coloring my hair since this past July, and has taken me everywhere from blonde, to blonder (I am a natural brunette), back to brunette, and now an ombré that I am literally obsessed with. This past session, I came in as a brunette who wanted to go ombré. I totally miscommunicated what I wanted, and even though she did an amazing job, it didn’t turn out how I envisioned it. Alli was so cool about the situation and assured me that it was absolutely no problem at all, and that «hair is really important,» and she wasn’t going to have me leave until I was totally happy. And let me tell you, I left so happy! She cares so much about her clients, and does such an amazing job, always being sure to go above and beyond to cater to their wants and needs. Also, she is an awesome girl who always remembers our conversations and is eager to catch up! She makes you feel super comfortable. I have never left the salon unhappy, and in fact, am always so excited to show off my new style. I get so many compliments on my hair, and would highly recommend Alli to anyone in need of a stylist.

I had an AMAZING first time experience at Ashen Salon!!! Kaylyn Senna was my stylist she soaked in everything I asked for and made a masterpiece. She took off exactly how much I wanted, no more or less. She made the exact color I asked for. My hair has never looked better or felt healthier. She had great advice on how to keep it looking healthy longer and how to maintain the color until my next visit. The ambiance in the salon alone was very fun. It the perfect cozy, artistic get away to treat yo self.

I have been going to Erin for around 7 years and cannot fully explain how amazing she is. I’ve been everything from the darkest brown to the lightest blonde, but no matter the color Erin always has me leaving the salon feeling gorgeous and confident in my new look. She is hands down the only person I will let work on my hair, and I know a bunch of my girlfriends feel the same way after going to her. Thanks for everything, Erin!

At the risk of never being able to get an appointment: I can’t endorse Courtney’s talent enough. I have lots of no-​longer-​pigmented hair. Courtney creates a base color, low lights and highlights that look natural and compliment my complexion perfectly. Her cuts are masterful. She listens –I mean really listens –to what I want in a cut and then creates exactly what we discussed. I just went from a shoulder-​length Reese Witherspoon cut to a chin length Charlize Theron. The execution was perfect. I was referred to her – and now, I’m referring friends. They also love her work.

Excellent!!! Found through Unilocal,called, got appointment in 30 min, went, greeted by friendly staff and got amazing haircut by Laura Bagley. She is wonderful, I got exactly what I was asking for and she will give you tons of useful tips on hair care! Great location, plenty of street parking and the interiors are very cozy and welcoming. All the girls working these seem to have amazing hair and hair color! Highly recommended!

Once again, another great haircut with soft, natural looking layers that fall into place effortlessly!
I’ve been on 3 four-​day trips since she cut my hair 3 weeks ago and it looked amazing in every city (rainy Oregon to freezing D.C.) and there was literally no fussing with it. I just clipped it overnight into 4 – 5 big curls all over my head & woke up with these awesome-​looking layers that stayed great looking all day.

Mia is amazing! I have been seeing her for over ten years. She has see me though multiple styles, my wedding day and has helped me with different events. She is a sweetheart and will make you look fabulous!

I really love this place! I first came here about a year ago, I live right down the street, and I just walked in and asked if there were any open appointments as a walk in and Kaylyn was available. I think she’s great! I’ve gotten my hair cut somewhere else close by, but I didn’t care for it as much as I loved the way Kaylyn cut it. I have very long curly hair, I don’t get it cut as often as I should, but when I do I sit down with Kaylyn and just tell her to clean it up a bit and maybe take an extra inch off and just do what you think will look good. And every time I love it. I can either get my hair cut from my Aunt for free or go to Kaylyn and pay, and honestly, I’d rather have Kaylyn cut it! The salon is very nice. I love the décor of the place. It’s a very comfortable environment. The products they use are lovely, if I knew how to actually style my hair, I’d purchase them. Overall, I’ll keep coming here and highly recommend it!

My hair is everything to me, it defines me and all my ways. With that being said, trusting someone with my hair does not come easy to me. That was until I met Laura Claire at Ashen Salon. She blew my mind with the cut she gave me. So much so that I will actually be visiting her again (twice in a month). I trust her and all her talents. She was very kind and patient with me when I tried explaining what it was that I wanted. Laura made me feel comfortable and listened to what I wanted. Ashen will actually be the first salon in the last 5 years that had me crying tears of joy. Thank you Laura! You’re the best!

I called and got an appointment the same day with Gabby for cut and color. I’m absolutely obsessed with how my hair turned out! Gabby took her time and I never felt like she rushed anything. She really made sure I was comfortable with what she was doing and was easy to talk with! I’ve never gotten more compliments on my hair than I have after getting it done with her. I’m so excited and definitely recommend going to see her. The atmosphere of the salon is also a bonus. It’s light, open, and gorgeous. You’ll love it and won’t be sorry!

I’m not big on getting my long hair cut, as a lot of stylist tend to chop too much off or add chunky layers from the 90’s. However after getting my hair cut here (I forgot her name but I’ll update this later) this was defiantly a much better experience. My stylist was able to communicate with me on the desired length and look.
However the only two things I would have changed about my experience are: Add a new price range for getting a trim (I would love to visit more often as long as I wont get over charged to trim off 1 – 2 inches) and my hair stylist needs to ease up on the heat setting on the blow dryer (My stylist was running late and was torching my scalp a bit to get the job done faster).

We all know how scary it is to get that first hair cut from someone new. I just moved here and was super nervous about getting my hair done by someone I don’t know… I was recommended by a friend to Erin Luce. Walking in and meeting her was so welcoming and there was never a «dull» or «awkward» moment while getting my hair done. I’m very pleased with how she treated me and I absolutely love my hair! I hands down will now recommend Erin to all my friends.

Have been having long hair for the past year and half. Decided to get a bob hair style. Something extremely short from what I have been used too. Gabby did an amazing Job, it turned out so much better than I taught. She has always been my to go girl.

Looking for a nearby salon, I was able to get a same day appointment at Ashen a few months ago and met Kristina. She did a fantastic job with my haircut! I have short (and surprisingly thick) hair and she gave me an awesome cut. She made sure to ask me throughout the appointment on how I felt with the length of my hair. Kristina was also super friendly and easy to chat with. She was so easy to get along with. My hair grew out really well after a few months until I realized that I needed to get a cut badly. I went to see Kristina again and she was able to squeeze me in that day for her final appointment. I wasn’t sure if she’d remember me, but she did! She again did an amazing job with my hair. She even got compliments from other stylists while I was still at the salon.
I would definitely recommend Kristina for a haircut!

Love getting my haircut by Gabby. She is amazing. She always makes me feel beautiful and she is very knowledgeable ! I love going to this salon. Will continue going. I am always well received !

I went to Ashen Salon last week for the first time, in order to find someone closer to home — i’ve been going to a woman in Orange County for the last 10+ years because I have family up there. I was so nervous trusting someone new, but Karen did an OUTSTANDING job! She not only did what I asked (in very vague terms), but she made it look even better than I had hopped for! I would highly recommend her and this salon!
