Bang & Olufsen

They don’t have stores in San Diego but their site still shows locations in La Jolla and Fashion Valley. Just hung up with a very rude guy who answered the phone (cell phone) saying «they’re gonna re-​open in San Diego but then his phone disconnected before I could inquire further.
It was a cool product back in the day, but that ship has sailed. A dying brand with no staying power to support warranties etc.
Sonance has always been the best available, Bose, you name it, but B&O is gone gone gone!!!

First off: the store is closed! This location used to be a corporate location and was franchised 5 months ago. Sadly, within a period of three months the new owner had driven it into the ground. This review is for the old corporate store.
Unilocal does not show this location as being closed but if you go there it is completely empty and will most likely be replaced by a new business soon. The entire situation is really unfortunate as they had been there for over five years serving the La Jolla community.
If you call the corporate B&O phone number (not the one listed here or if you google this location) they will confirm they are in process in getting the phone number back from the scumbag, who has kept the line open and pretends to be a Bang and Olifsen salesperson as he has opened another company already.
Corporate Bang and Olufsen did say they will be opening another store in San Diego soon, but did not say when. Hopefully soon!!!

On 8÷19÷14 Bang & Olufsen had collaboration event with BMW and it was great! What was so great you ask?
Good food and drink is a must which they had plenty of.
All their audio and TV sounded AWESOME! They were playing Life of Pi, the scene where the lion was roaring and I felt like the lion was right in front of me. (Scary — -)
For those that don’t know what Bang & Olufsen is, B&O is luxary audio that does TV and other things too (sorry, I don’t really know too much about it, except that it sounds GREAT!!!)
Their products have artistic design that it’s a art piece in itself. I currently have 3 B&O, let me correct that. I currently own 4, because I won exclusive engraved BMW B&O headphone at the event. Yay!!! (Sorry, I wanted to brag because it was so unexpected. =)) Oh and it only pertain to those that were at the event, if you received those gift bags at the event, open the thing that looks like CD and inside is a voucher for B&O sports headphone. (AWESOME, isn’t it?)
I was contemplating if I should go or not, since I already have B&O sound system in my AUDI but it never hurts to check it out and I am SOOOO glad I did. I would have missed out on life changing experience.
Why is it life changing? Because if you buy a regular TV and regular surround sound system it will cost you about 10K give it or take couple of thousand but if you purchase B&O TV, it already comes with great sound system that you will not need or miss a surround sound system (in my opinion, since lion is still roaring at me — -).
And also fun factor; Maria, Doris and I had a lot of excitement from mingling or something like that but it was exciting.

Honestly, I never heard of B&O, so thanks to my friend Adam for introducing the product to me. Super high end sound system for your entertainment, automobile or your home. The store is in La Jolla Proper next to the Chase bank.
The store is beautiful, modern and with clean lines. I love how it’s super bright inside, which makes pictures with great lighting!!!
Unfortunately, B&O is only contracted with certain car dealers such as BMW, but is hoping to pursue other contracts in the near future. (My poor little Lexus has a Bose system.)
I listened to some of the demos and the sound is immaculate. I love the designs since they don’t look like speakers at all! I LOVE the TV!!!
Perhaps when we get a larger place next year we will invest in the home surround sound since I doubt my current neighbors will appreciate these speakers in my condo!

The staff was very professional and knowledgeable. They treat everyone as a secret Billionaire, given that I dressed like a poor guy. Although they knew I had no intention or ability to buy anything, the staff still took the time to introduce me about their product, assuming I would buy one in the far future. The staff remembered what my headphone preference during our conversation. Later, he sent me ONE product update e-​mail, which I did not respond. And, they did not jam my inbox with further ads.

Cool store, friendly staff. Very very expensive products, but they are truly high end speakers. Company is from Denmark, one of the original premium audio companies still kicking.

Insanely high end audio equipment. Makes Bose seem pedestrian. I would’nt be surprised if 99% of the people that come in for a look don’t buy anything at all.
But that’s the point, B&O has always catered to the 1%.
I have dropped in for a look before and was met with impressively designed audio equipment that puts out sound second to none.
If you don’t flinch at dropping four to five figures on your speakers, then they will have something to fill your desires.

Their products offer top quality sound, with a minimalist, sleek, and beautifully aggressive design. They have THE BEST sound system for iPods EVER created. This device is featured in the center of the shop’s floor. It captures the subtle, fine notes of a Glen Gould piano piece, and the deep bass of a Jay-​Z tune.
They also have some awesome telephones that fit well into a modern interior.
The salesman was very helpful, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to speak to.
Screw Bose and Sony; they have nothing on B&O.
