I was in a bad place when I turned to Candace. A friend had recommended her as the go to gal for top-​notch highlights, after my previous stylist had turned my medium brown hair absolutely orange. I wanted that perfectly warm highlighted look while maintaining the dark underneath and apparently there’s a lot more to it to get the tone and contrast just right. Candace did an amazing job rescuing my hair and I’ll never go anywhere else. She’s a master of the perfectly textured high/​lowlight. Plus the salon sits above one of the best little Italian places in San Diego. Win-​win!

Candace was a great find ! A friend recommended her, and I was so happy with the result. I was never excited about a haircut before, but since Candace took the time to understand my hair and my style she then created a fantastic cut for me. The Bella Salon was a very pleasant environment with open air ocean breezes. I’m looking forward to going back, and I would highly recommend Candace to those seeking something special in a cut.

«Candace is a true artist. Using her eyes, hands and her innate creativity, she formulates a vision for her client’s hairstyle. With her plan formulated, she goes into action. There is nothing worse than being in a new city without a great stylist. Thankfully I found Candace. She is truly a Gem in La Jolla Shores. Let’s face it, blonde hair color is tricky. Especially for a hair snob like me. She exceeds my expectations every time. One visit to Candace, and the next thing you know, you’ll be her very best friend!

Candace is a true talent! I was fortunate when a friend recommended her as a stylist. I went to see her years ago for a cut, color and style and I haven’t looked back. She is fantastic with blondes and I always feel fantastic when I walk out of her salon. She has a way of making one feel and look wonderful! She has the experience and the eye to just know what will look right and I simply trust her.
