GREATESTSTAFF! Most pleasant experience I could ask for given the procedure. After putting off a colonoscopy for years, at the urging of my internist Dr. Abbo & friends, at 61 finally knuckled under. Dr. Lenz made me feel very comfortable, I completely trusted his experience & expertise. The nursing staff at LJ Endoscopy WERETHEBEST! Like the other reviewer says, they were so very personable, friendly, and seemed to really enjoy working with each other. They helped me feel calm & cared for. I do not do well w/anestesia, so at my request Dr. Lenz allowed me to try the procedure without the usual dose of relaxer/pain reliever(admittedly, not entirely painless & most patients won’t go this route, but the attending nurses helped me through it & just as I preferred, I didn’t have to recover from a sedative the rest of the day!). It was perfect for me. I never write reviews but just had to let people who may be putting it off like I did, that it was a very positive experience, not anything like the nightmare I expected. Thank you Dr. Lenz & the FANTASTIC nursing staff at LJ Endoscopy Center!!! Debra Lee Miller — Happy patient(especially now w/a ‘clean bill of health’ too!)

This was the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had related to medical care. I had to get an endoscopy, and wasn’t quite sure what to expect as it was my first time. I’d never even been sedated for anything. The nurses were absolutely WONDERFUL! They were positive, happy, they had a great rapport with each other and with Dr. Lenz, who treated me. You can tell they genuinely enjoy their work. They all included me in their conversations, took the time to answer any questions I had, made sure I was as comfortable as possible and kept the whole situation very light hearted. This is the place to go for an endoscopy!

I went there for an endoscopy of my stomach. I like Dr. Lenz. Before the procedure I was able to discuss any concerns I had. I was impressed with the procedure room staff. Right before I was administered anesthesia I was a little nervous. I made a comment to the anesthesiologist about something the nurse there had done to me and told her«Not to freak out.» Her response was«We don’t freak out here.» Good answer. It calmed my nerves. I was awake before I knew it and the procedure was done.
