Park La Jolla Apartments

Lived here… Location was great… BUT the leasing office ladies are rude. And the maintenance workers were annoyed if asked to do anything. Even when the apartments are very old and run down and NEED work and tenants should’ve have to feel badly about asking for work done!

I love living here! The management is very nice and helpful. They don’t have computers which is pretty funny but they are very attentive anytime we need anything.
Anytime we have an issue, they send someone right out. Drain plugged up at 9pm? Someone’s there within 15 minutes. The rent is very reasonable for such a nice area and for San Diego. The apartments are walking distance from PB but far enough away that it’s quiet. CVS and Albertsons are right around the corner along with all of the other cute places in Bird Rock.
The grounds are well-​kept and the apartments themselves are pristine for being fairly old. The walls are cement so it’s difficult to hang things, but we make due. Also, for a semi-​small place, there is a ton of storage space. Whoever designed the places made great use of the space.
Laundry rooms are never too crowded and I’ve never had to wait. There’s a park just down the street where you can watch the most amazing sunsets. All in all, I think it’s a great place to live and I plan to stay for quite awhile.

They are so great about keeping the grounds and surrounding areas so clean and manicured. Anytime we have an issue, they take care of it as quick as they can. I have rented a lot of different locations all over SD County… and these are the best landlords around. They leave you alone so you can mind your business. Organized like corporate run, but friendly like family run. everything is clean and well maintained considering how old the buildings are.
Oh, and FYI — the smell is from the seaweed that washes up just north of Tourmaline surf park. it gets stuck in that inlet and then it can be super strong. but not from a sewer, just to be clear.
