Hung around La Jolla and needed to print out some documents immediately. I found here and experienced good service.

I went to Postal Annex to scan something. The plan was to scan it, email it to myself, then email it where I needed it to go. Well, when I found out the price for scanning was $ 2 per page, I thought I needed another strategy. I admittedly haven’t scanned a lot at mailbox places like this, but this seemed very high. So, I faxed it, which was still $ 1 per page after the first page(which was more of course). The employee was very friendly, so there’s that. But, I’d only return if this was my only option, as it just seems higher than other similar businesses.

I love shipping my items from this store. Yes, it’s more expensive than USPS, but you pay for the service. I never really understand people who complain about prices when they go to places like Postal Annex. The point of stores like these is the convenience! Yes, you pay more, but they help you package everything and you don’t have to wait in the ridiculous lines at the USPS.(i’m sure i’m not the only one frustrated by the rudeness and general unhelpfulness from USPS workers… common just let me use some of your tape! I only need a few inches!) I’ve also used the notary at this location and Jamie is wonderful. She was professional and sweet. I was running late with a document i needed notarized that day and Jamie waited for me past her closing time when I called her worried that I might not make it to her store in time. I’ve yet met a store owner who was willing to wait past her closing time to help a customer out. All in all, I’ll always be a frequent customer here, and i’d recommend this place to anyone.

Terible place that over charges and doesn’t tell you what they are charging for. I just mailed a 1 lb 5 ounce package from San Diego to Boston and they charged me $ 21 compared to USPS $ 11. When I asked the lady how much more they charge than the post office she said«only a dollar or two». They charged me a $ 1 delivery confirmation without telling me and rounded my package weight to 2 lbs. I am highly dissatisfied and will never go there again.

I am a notary public. I offer my services to the tenants at our building here in La Jolla. Yesterday i had a doctors appointment, so since i could not be of service, i made an appointment with Jamie to come sign selling documents for a home. GIVEN you know this is a more lengthy notary… as there are more documents.(I stated that on the phone WHEN making the appointment because i KNOW they are time consuming and paying attention to detail) When i returned to the office this morning, i was told how unprofessional and rude Jamie was. HERE I THOUGHTHEY, SHEOWNSTHEBUSINESS, THEYWILLBELEFTINGOODHANDS! I was wrong. The selling agent at one point told her«If you need to leave GO» because she was rushing the appointment. Mind you, this was last minute(I made the appointment around 10a.m., for 3 p.m.) When Jamie was done, the agent was finishing up the meeting, and Jamie was down in our reception area, «i need my money i need my money i need my money». I’m sorry, but that is between you and the agent, NOT the building and all of those who may be passing through. We will NOT use your services again, and we will NOT recommend you to ANYONE for a notary. Unprofessional.

The staff are nice. I had to mail some electronics to an international destination, and they were very helpful in getting all of my stuff in order. My shipment quickly arrived to the destination intact. I’ve also used their fax service. The prices can be a bit high, but you pay for service. Hey, you’re in La Jolla!
