The quality in this specific location was very poor. The sauce that they provided in the little plastic cups were clearly old, very old, as you could see the tinted color of old/bad sauce caked on the top of the container lid, kind of like an old mayonnaise jar, yuck. The gyro itself was probably one of the worst gyro’s I’ve ever had. It was flavorless, lacking tzatziki, and overall just very poor quality. Unless you work in the absolute area of this place, avoid at all costs.

Called in an order for pick up and realized I meant to call a different location so I called back right away to cancel the order: The gentleman on the phone told me «next time you need to make sure because I’m really busy.» One thing I will make sure to do is never order food from this location on purpose. What great customer service!

I either get a salad or the pita meal here or if I’m feeling like I need to clog my arteries, I order the Santorini island fries. It’s fries topped with feta cheese, gyro meat, chicken, grilled jalapeño and a lemon dill sauce. They also add a side of tzatziki sauce. I suggest you ask for an extra one so you can dip the fries in it. You can also ask them to add a little bit more lemon dill sauce because that stuff is pretty awesome. They are very efficient here. The line can get really long but it moves fairly quickly. Just make sure that you know what you’re getting by the time they ask you what you want to order. Oh one last thing, don’t ask to substitute things or take things out of an order, 9 out of 10 times it ain’t going to happen. Overall, the food is good, plentiful and the prices are decent.

I really like coming here for the loaded fries! It’s too salty at times but it’s prob one of the best things to eat while you’re on campus tbh… if you like it spicy be sure to add siracha too! Dump Siracha and the white sauce they give you into the box along with other sauces you like, shake it all up, and there you have it! I wouldn’t eat this all the time though because it can get really heavy and dry(but that’s why you dump so much sauce onto it — to make it less dry)

I really like Santorini because the food is always consistent. I like to get the grilled chicken pita plate or the gyro plate. The plates come with two sides of your choice and I usually get fries and the salad. The fries are extremely good and thick and is very refreshing. I also really like the meat. The only thing I dont like that much is that the salad sauce is comprised of vinegar and oil which separates. So when you pour it on your salad, some areas have a large amount of just olive oil.

I really like this place. This is my go-to when Im taking my lunch breaks. The lines are really long though, but the food is good so it’s worth it. The cooks are really friendly. The Hispanic lady is flirtatious lol

Whenever I go to PC, I usually eat at Santorini. I really like the gyros plate and chicken salad. For the gyros plate, they give very generous portions of meat. However, I often get sick of the meat so I don’t finish all of it anyways. The gyros plate is pretty good, except it’s not always fresh. There were a few times when I didn’t feel well after eating the plate. I really love the dressing that they put in the chicken salad. They also put in the perfect amount of chicken, so I’m always satisfied after eating the salad. There are a lot of things that I’m looking forward to trying here. If you’re looking for some decent Mediterranean food, I definitely recommend Santorini! 3.5 stars!

Was on the UCSD campus, waiting for a friend to get off work. So we tried this place for a fast lunch. I got the gyro pita sandwich. It is basically just the sandwich but they have other options like plates that comes with fries and other sides. But the pita sandwich was enough. It was packed with a lot of stuff including fries(I think). Pretty messy to eat but delicious. It was quick and convenient and I recommend it to everyone.

Definitely my most gone to place while attending school in San Diego. The line gets pretty long during lunch hours, having around a 10 – 15 minute wait. This place has a wide variety of greek food and many fusion items. The reason why I love this place rather than other places in price center is because they cook the meat fresh and right in front of you. The prices are very fair ranging around $ 7 – 10 depending on what you order. For sure a place to check out if you want something fresh and also yummy

IF you ever visit UCSD and you’re in the mood to eat, then I would suggest Santorini. It’s one of better options, taste wise, price wise, and amount wise. I wouldn’t get their gyro bc it’s too greasy for me. I love their fries bc they’re deliciously seasoned, especially when they’re hot out of the fryer. Also, their vegetables are great too! I think that Santorini might over-do it on the oil but compared to other places on campus, Santorini is the place to go.

All the workers are very friendly, but the food is average. The only thing I really recommend getting here are the feta fries — their feta is fresh, soft, and perfectly crumbled, which pairs perfectly with the fries!

Santorini is probably one of my favorite restaurants at PC. They have some good deals on certain days, and pricing isn’t too bad. The line tends to be long(just like everywhere else at PC during lunchtime), but it goes by pretty quickly. I’ve had their gyro meal and Santorini platter – both great choices. They give a lot of meat when you get the gyro, so that’s a positive. There’s a lot of different variations with their meals, but with the same selections of food. For instance, all of the components are pretty similar if you were to get a gyro plate(gyro sandwich and fries) or a gyro salad. The main difference would be the fries, but you could get that on the side. Regardless, all plates are delicious. Some plates come with salad, while others don’t. One thing I’d like is if there fries were crispier. They’re good, but I like to hear that crunch! Another is that their salad dressing has a bit too much oil for me. I feel like I’m pouring excess cooking oil onto a salad sometimes.

If you do not go to UCSD do not eat here just a heads up. The food is pretty good and if you get the meals you get the best bang for your buck. This place hits the spot when your hungry, but unfortunately it takes forever in the dreaded lines. Trying going during non-rush hour times for sure.

Santorini has one of the most edible food options for PC eating. I like their gyros and the workers always try to stuff it with as much food as they can put without the whole sandwich just falling apart. I never got to try their island fries or their chicken wings, but I heard about them often enough that I will recommend it to people even though I haven’t tried it myself. LOL The staff here are super nice and call you amigo/amiga all the time. I always appreciated how sweet everyone was even with the super lunch rush– not all PC eateries are kind like that!

This is place is SOBOMB! I never knew fast food Greek places like this even existed! I ordered a veggie plate, which was almost too good to be true because it was such a delectable combination of all my favorite Greek foods all rolled into one meal! Little falafel balls, pita bread, hummus, dolmas, spanakopita, salad… and FRIES! A little bit of everything but still very generous portions! I’m gonna be dreaming about this lunch… vegetarian heaven!

Santorini is my go to place at UCSD. It is located in Price Center and they open very early and close late at 9pm. Their Gyro Plates and Chicken Salads are delicious and they are always very consistent with their large portions. Most meals always come with a Pita Bread and you can dip it in their delicious Tzatziki Sauce. Their freshly made fries are also delicious. Pros: Delicious Mediterranean food Large consistent portions Super fast service

Come here quite often as a student living on campus! Lunch time here is packed! I’ve tried the different platters at Santorini, but my favorite is the super chicken salad. I remember the first time I saw someone else order it, I wondered why they would spend $ 10 on a chicken salad? I orders it myself one day, and I’ve been addicted. You get a good amount of lettuce and Regular salad toppings but you also get two whole chicken breasts, with pita bread! The chicken breast is spiced and seasoned perfectly! If you are looking for a healthy yet yummy indulgence, I highly recommend their salad. Pros: –quick service. They roll out the food fast! –good portions. Generous servings! Good prices too. Cons: –line is too long, but that just shows how popular they are. Coming here again when I need a healthier alternative on campus!

Gotta throw out some context here first: this is an on-campus location… so basically lower your standards. Let’s face it — food on a college campus just doesn’t compare to off-site locations. Even the Subway here is different. Anyway, Santorini’s is often my go-to place when in PC. This place is probably the most expensive food place in PC, but sometimes you just crave a hearty meal. The food here isn’t bad, but I find it to be really greasy, especially if you get the gyros. I don’t exactly know what Greek food is supposed to taste like, so I can’t provide any information on the authenticity. The freshness of the food here is often a hit-or-miss. During busy rush hours(lunch/dinner), they’ll prepare lots of pita breads and pre-cut gyros and store them in warmed containers. Unfortunately, these containers will often dry out the food and so by the time you get them, they’re just lifeless. However, when they do cut off fresh meat for you, it’s super tasty, but also super oily. I normally get the Gyros plate or the Gyros salad. I find that getting the«meals» tends to give you less food since they’ll pre-wrap your gyros meat in the pita bread. For the plate, they separate them so they tend to give you more meat. Overall, I like the food here, but don’t LOVE it. It’s fast and decent-tasting, but I find it a little pricey for the food I get. Also, as with all PC food at UCSD, it gives me a funny feeling in my stomach later… A random tidbit: I’ve heard wonders about their breakfast menu but I’m never here in time to get it because it ends at noon!

I’m not looking for a clearer conscience Peace of mind after what I’ve been through And before we talk of any repentance Try walking in my shoes Try walking in my shoes You’ll stumble in my footsteps Keep the same appointments I kept If you try walking in my shoes If you try walking in my shoes Try walking in my shoes Walking in My Shoes — Depeche Mode Often I’m faced with the choice of microwaving leftovers or eating at the Price Center. Some may say that food at the Price Center is barely better than cafeteria food. Dear reader this is one of the better places in the Price Center. This time I ordered the Santorini(combo) plate. I chose sausage, chicken wings, gyro meat, french fries, rice, and pita bread. The sausage was my fav item. It was juicy and had good flavor. The fries were good, hot and crunchy. Pita bread was soft and had good flavor. Rice was a bit mushy and lacked flavor. Gyro meat was a bit dry and the flavor was ok. The chicken wings were dry had a slight lemony flavor. The serving size was dinner size and I was quite stuffed. If you are looking for good Greek food I think Daphne’s is better. This place will keep you from going hungry if you are trapped here like I am.
