Rude receptionists. Prices quoted over the phone are not the prices being charged. The doctor would not take any responsibility for anything. You are practically on your own to make a medical decision. He’s just trying to milk you by offering unnecesary irrelevant services. Oh, your cast looks a little dirty, let me change you $ 100 to put a fresh one on. -«Do I need a new cast?» -«No, but it will look better.» -«Should I remove the cast? Is it the time?» -«It is up to you.» -«Would you like another set of x-rays?» ’”Do I need them?” -«It is up to you.» What the hell is this? You are the doctor. You are a professional. I come to you and pay you so you can make a professional medical decision for me. «it’s up to you» isn’t what I need to hear.

Dr. Serocki was fine, but his office staff was terrible, and then rude and insulting. Due to an administrative error on their part(Dr. Serocki has several tax ID numbers for his different offices, only some of the tax ID numbers are covered by my insurance company). I got his name from my insurance company web page and confirmed with the insurance company and his staff that he is on my plan. Turns out, I went to an office that was not covered by my plan. I had no idea I needed to check which office was in my plan. The visit got denied by my insurance company. When I called, his staff told me they had submitted under the wrong tax ID number. After 18 months of «misfiled» claims they told me if I didn’t pay the amount covered by insurance, they would file a credit report on me. I asked to speak to Dr. Serocki; the person took my number etc, but he never called me. When I inquired about when was he going to call me, I was told he doesn’t speak to patients about administrative/billing issues. Why did they lead me to believe he would call me back? I bet he never even got the message. He needs to have better oversight of his office staff. Not only will I never go back to him, I will never refer anyone to him, either, and I do make physician referrals because of the work I do.

Four Stars for Dr. Serocki but only one for the front office staff. I like the doctor and would recommend him to anyone but the front desk staff leaves a lot to be desired with regards to professionalism. Twice I called to make appointments and showed up on the day /time and the doctor was not in and there was no record of my appointment at all. I understand that people make mistakes but when they act as if you’re delusional it is unbelievably unprofessional and more than a little insulting. I work in an office and I’m very competent. My schedule is important and I do not make mistakes that cause me to get up early, fight rush hour traffic, and be someplace I’d rather not be. I did not hallucinate the conversation I had with the girl who set the appointment. She even pulled my file and discussed PT. From now on I will be sure to get a name!
