Madison Gallery is such a! st class venue for world class beautiful art in the Village of La Jolla, Ca. As a sophisticated collector who has traveled the world, I have never seen a more impressive space to exhibit large scale works of fine art. The gallery represents very talented artists from around the globe and the Directors and staff are extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of collecting. They are all very well educated and trained and are of great assistance when guiding a serious collector on making additions to the collection. Anyone who lives in San Diego, or is a visitor to La Jolla, must make it a point to stop in and walk around this ocean view amazing gallery. Ask for the owner and CEO Lorna York or directors Erin Pierro, Malissa Saghatchi or Madison York! You will be glad that you did … Submitted by Judge Jonathan T. Friendly staff, knowledgeable about art and artists. I have been in here a few times since they opened, but my first time reviewing.
They carry modern to contemporary works. They also can get just about any world available work or artist representation you would need. If you are looking for a representative work for a wall in your La Jolla home, certainly check out the Madison Gallery.

Finally the right match for this location with a prime view. Been here a few times over the years, always worth going to if you love contemporary art, my favorite thing is that the wall heights can accommodate huge pieces that belong in hotels. I always find something I would love to have but at $ 35K that’s unlikely!!! I like how they leave you alone to admire the art, sometimes it a bit cramped in the back but in general always has a good show on. James Verbicky is my favorite who is showing there in Sept.

If you’re into art in San Diego, this is the place. Owner Yorna Lork is great and very knowledgeable regarding contemporary art. They have a great selection from entry level to more expensive pieces. High on the integrity scale too. The selection is constantly changing and their artist selection, challenging yet solid. I highly recommend it.

I have been going to Madison Gallery for over a year. I just love the art and the location. Alex is the best and he continues to host events and keep his clients informed of specials and releases via email. As Alex said one day in his email, «It is better to invest in art, which is something tangible, versus the stock market. At least it is something you and admire year after year.» Anyway, if you are in La Jolla just make your way down Prospect to Madison Gallery. You will not be disappointed.

Making keen use of a space that had a long term drought of ‘best usage,” Madison Gallery is always reliable for a pleasurable walk through of an ideal stake for a progressive art gallery. High ceilings with concrete floors and the open airness second to none since the sashay westbound leads to an ocean view patio. Lorna York seized an opportunity to quench the thirst of several La Jollan art enthusiasts by offering cutting edge artists from all over the world that additionally stimulate this space showing the immense possibilities of adornment.

Madison Art Gallery is a brand, spanking new gallery in La Jolla that features a new and inventive artists. The venue and the collection is very modern. The interior here is resembles an artists’ loft and the décor has a very feng shui, zen arty feel.
The gallery owners are from back and they said they modeled the gallery after the galleries in Manhattan.
The art the Madison gallery is appealing, but the space is almost as equally attractive.
