Being a student at UCSD, this place is a great pit stop right after my classes. They have lots of flavors and the staff is realllly nice!

For being a froyo place on campus, I fell in love. Anything food-related at school can be hit or miss, but Yogurt World definitely fulfilled my sweet tooth craving. First of all, it’s not that big, but there is seating inside, as well as tables outside. I decided to sit inside to enjoy my froyo as I did homework. There is only one size, but there are a variety of different bowls that are aesthetically pleasing. This place in general is cute – the wallpaper, especially. There are a variety of flavors! My favorite flavors are green tea, Thai tea, and cookies n cream. There aren’t very many froyo places that offer green tea and Thai tea, so I was very pleased! I was overwhelmed when it came to toppings. Yogurt World had the typical candy, nuts, cookie kind of toppings, as well as fruits and chocolate syrup and caramel sauces. What I fell in love with is the fact that they have mochi! There are very minimal froyo places with mochi I feel(in San Diego, at least). Yes, there are shaved snow places where you can get mochi, but NOT froyo. That’s when I knew that I would become addicted. Today was my first, but not last visit.

Come here very often in between classes and after work when I’m craving something cold and sweet. Pros: 1) Staff is very nice! Always smiling. 2) Good variety of flavors! They switch up the 10(or 15?) flavors almost every day!(Of course, they have the staple ones.) 3) Good variety of toppings! Probably the most I’ve seen compared to other froyo places. Cons: 1) The froyo here is kind of watery. :(Not as solid as Yogurtland off campus or other froyo places… but it shall suffice for being on campus. Will continue to come here!

I really like this place. It’s pretty straight-forward. There aren’t a ton of froyo flavors, but they do have good choices and a really good variety of toppings for everyone’s taste. Their cute spoons also make froyo-eating fun!

I love love love this froyo place. They have all sorts of cool flavours such as honeydew, mint and my all time fav, thai tea. The thai tea froyo is soooo good. It’s very light, with just hint of the tea flavour and it’s not very sweet either. Toppings here include like 4 different kinds of fruit juice ball things and lots of jelly. The place is a little small and hot but most people just buy and leave. The cashier is always really nice and friendly. Probably my favourite froyo place.

Pricing: Good-Expensive. 43 cents/oz is very expensive when I am use to 35 – 39 cents/oz. Quality: Good-Excellent. Some of the best flavors I ever had. Turnaround: Excellent. This is self-service so why wouldn’t it be quick? Service: N/A. Self-service. Luckily we had a coupon for 10% off so we were paying 39 cents/oz, but without the coupon, the yogurt here is kind of pricey. They have a very large variety of flavors and I found that their«tea» flavors were my favorite from the Thai to the milk tea. I also enjoyed their tropical fruit flavors(mango and pineapple) and they had an excellent pomegranate sorbet. The consistency of the yogurts were not always frozen though, which was fortunately not too big of a deal. The lines can kind of get long during the lunch hours and between classes, but the register is pretty fast so that is good. Also, since there are so many awesome flavors to pick from, people do not crowd around the machines for long. They have mochi and fruits for toppings though I don’t know why I would put mochi when they tend to freeze into hard rocks on my yogurt. I did not see any hot fudge or butterscotch, but they had whip cream and other aerosol toppings. Most importantly is that most of the machines were always up and running instead of out of order so I appreciate the owners keeping up with their maintenance.

I like this location better than the Convoy one because the flavors at this one rotate everyday! Plus they have THAITEA!!! Which is like the best yogurt flavor everrrrr. There’s always some unique flavors at this Yogurt World like Thai Tea for example, or salted caramel pretzel, pumpkin and other flavors. And then they have traditional flavors like peanut butter, taro, green tea, etc. All the flavors are so gooooood! I wish there was a Yogurt World back in NorCal!

Everything is too sweet and you don’t feel much of Yogurt flavor unless you get the plain tart. It seems they are more expensive than Yogurtland too. Only reason I go here is because they are located at the middle of campus and so accessible.

Alright, I came here again because I was craving some fro-yo, and this place actually isn’t that bad. Maybe it’s cause I tried another fro-yo place in Solana Beach, which wasn’t as good, or maybe they just got that much better. The Thai Tea, this time, wasn’t so great though. Azuki Red Bean: I finally got to try! Super super good. It tastes exactly like red bean – like an ice cream form of red bean but tastes exactly like it. Simply delicious. I should have replaced the Thai Tea with this. Definitely give this a try! Plain Tart: still as good as ever. Honestly really comparable to Yogurtland’s plain tart, which is a feat in my opinion. Nice and tart, but pairs so well with my favorite ingredients(cheesecake bites, mochi, and strawberries – yum!!) Caramel with Salted Pretzel: I gave this a try. I guess it’s going for a salted caramel type of taste. Way too salty for me. I’m not a particular fan of the salt flavor, so I didn’t like this. If you like salted caramel, perhaps you’ll like this, but it didn’t suit me. The toppings were really fresh when I got them too! The mochi was nice and chewy, cheesecake bites weren’t crusty, strawberries were plump and red. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to satisfy my fro-yo craving, especially when I’m stuck on campus. Thanks, Yogurt World!

OHHHHhhhhhhh mannnn… I got the peanut butter yogurt like I ALWAYS do at yogurt places and I wanted to scrape my tongue off after the first bite. It was horrible. So bitter. Maybe it was just a bad batch… but… that ain’t right. However, Yogurt World does have a wider variety of toppings that Yogurt Land which is nice. It seems to be more organized, too. Will I return? Probably not to this location. There is, however, a Yogurt World near my house that my cousin recommended I try. Apparently it was the high school hang out for her and her gaggle of gals and boys. So. Maybe I’ll go on a weekday afternoon. You know, when that kind of group is at school.

Decided to have some yogurt today and was happy to see they have tart yogurt! My personal fave. I usually get plain tart with lychees but changed it up today and got mango tart with mangoes! mmm… so good. I met Michael the owner who said they are going«green» and getting biodegradable tasting cups and spoons! Love that since my new years resolution is to not buy plastic. Will definitely be back(since it’s conveniently near my office).

The place is very clean and chic. The yogurts are super yummy and there are lots of flavor and topping choices. There are lots of unique Asian flavor here which I LOVE! Mocha, Taro, Thai… The only downside is… whyyy close so early on Sundays!!!

+1 star: great thick consistency of yogurt +1 star: good variety of flavors and toppings +1 star: relatively cheap price at 38 cents/ounce +1 star: located on UCSD campus You can never go wrong with a cup of frozen yogurt. The yogurt served here is consistently thick, tart/sweet, and full of flavor. I love their matcha green tea flavor! Their crushed pineapple flavor is unique, too. Definitely give this place a try! It won’t disappoint.

The flavors are quite unique! I have never had dulce de leche froyo, and this is one of my favorite ice cream flavors. So I got some of this along with red velvet froyo, and on top of the froyo were cheesecake bites, brownie bites, and mochi. I was dying to eat it even before paying for it! I sat down and took a spoonful that had a little of everything in my froyo, and the rush of satisfaction went through my entire body. It was really sweet froyo, but I love that. I finished my entire cup clean, and it was so good that I wanted more. I had a huge urge to go get another cup of froyo, but I didn’t. For sure going to get more froyo in my cup next time! And I still have yet to try the other froyo flavors that they offered. There were just too many that sounded so tasty, but I couldn’t put try them all at once. Next time.

This place was like heaven on campus when it first opened in on campus. It’s changed though, they don’t have that many flavors anymore. Still, I give it 4 stars for all the happy times I had there while I was still on campus.

More like 3.75(there’s something missing about this place…) but 4 stars in terms of convenience. My friends and I are seriously addicted to froyo and this place seems to have the best vanilla flavor ever. My favorites: Vanilla froyo + caramel pecan plain tart froyo + strawberry + banana Mocha froyo + oreo + butterfinger pieces+ brownie bites Taro froyo + almond + coconut+ mochi FROYO = me and my friend’s CRACK.

Being a ucsd students, I came here very often! Especially suing hot summer day! However, I stop comic to this place because their service is bad! One time my friend and I were buying the yogurt, but the scale didn’t work, so the cashier didn’t want to make the estimation for my yogurt! Someone was like can j give you 5 bucks(it’s much less than 5 bucks), the cashier was like noooo I need the scale! It took us for 30 minutes wait! I was super upset about it because I just want the frozen yogurt that’s it!!! Ughhh 3 stars bc they have really good yogurt! But the service is baddddd!

GOTOYOGURTLANDIFYOUCAN! While I used to have an ongoing debate with my friends between yogurtworld and yogurtland because me and one of my friends used to be quite fond of YogurtWORLD, but now YOGURTLAND wins! Mainly b/c now that I am out of college, I know money and trust me $.08 an ounce goes a long way because WORLD is $.38/ounce and LAND is $.30/ounce. If you get 10 ounces, you save $.80 which is a lot in yogurt terms. However, put price aside, LAND is a lot more creamy and has a lot more variety. The best part about LAND is that it always refreshes its flavors. It probably has a core 7 – 10 they always have and then they usually have 2 seasonal flavors that are always a nice surprise to visit. Also, at WORLD, they are so stingy with sample cups. God forbid you ask, you get one tiny sample cup. The people aren’t as friendly and what is with the ridiculous sign that says«Congratulations YOGURTWORLD.» Anyways…you get my point.

Yummm! Always clean and cute inside :) I tend to fill up and satisfy my cravings on the sample cups and not enjoy my cup of yogurt as much but oh well. They have the same basic flavors like plain tart, peach tart, green tea tart, vanilla, chocolate etc… Recently they’ve had new flavors like orange(GROSS), banana pudding, and honeydew. Ehhhh… I like the basic ones better. And sometimes they don’t have my favorites like peanut butter. And why don’t they have taro? :(

Congrats UCSD, you finally managed to get a good eatery on campus(albeit one that only serves frozen yogurt). Similar set-up as the one on Convoy, except less space. I’ve been here a couple times during the lunch hour, didn’t have to wait long in line.
