I have been with Kami for about 2 years now!
Kami is the first hair stylist that I have stuck with for this long and I plan on her doing my hair forever and ever!
She’s good at literally everything. I’m talking about ombré, balayage, highlights, everything!
I have gotten my hair done with a balayage with her and it was beautiful and I also got an ombré as well and she did really good blending everything out for me and making my hair look fabulous!
If you’re looking to cut your hair from long to short, kami is known to do AMAZING short cuts. I had long hair and every time I went short from a different hair stylist I was never satisfied! Kami is my first hair stylist where I let her cut my hair short and I fell in love when I saw it! I wasn’t sad or anything, she made me love my short hair from the quality cut she gave me. It was perfect. She will make you look so good in short hair!
I love how she takes her time and what you want with your hair, Kami will deliver it! She will give you results that you will be satisfied with. She knows what is best for her clients and she is honest! That’s what makes her such a genuine hair stylist.
She is a definitely a professional hair stylist that owns up to her title! You won’t be disappointed with her. I have never left after my apt feeling dissatisfied.

I chased Kami here from another salon for my first appointment. She was voted #3 stylist of 2015 on SD best. I’ve waited 2 years to cut and color my hair for 2 years because I told my late mother in law I would donate it. When the time came I searched through Unilocal,Google reviews and Facebook to try and find the perfect stylist and I was pleased to find Kami! No bleach whatsoever on my very black hair yet she made the red shine through! Definitely will be coming back.

Got my hair done by Erica Mason, and it’s fantastic! Not only is the color perfect (platinum blonde), my hair is healthy, fabulous cut and I went home with the best product for blondes. Erica really listened to me and I talked about my «blonde» struggles. She was so fun to chat with and really knows what she is doing! We also put in a piece if real just to spice it up.
The haircut is the best I’ve had and she respected my attachment to my length but still trimmed! She styled it so great, my husband loved it! FYI check out her Instagram @hairicalynn page for her AMAZING up dos! Can’t wait to go back! Super clean and cute salon!

I’ve been going to this Salon for over a year now and wish I would have found it sooner. Karina is awesome and the Salon has a great vibe.

Lynzy is the best. I go to her for my regular cut and color. She’s fun, efficient, and knows hair! I have always been happy. She recently worked at a friend’s wedding and did all the girls hair. We have never gotten so many compliments and our hair stayed in place the entire evening. Hands down, my favorite hair person ever!

I made my first appointment with Amelia as a referral from a girl I met and loved her hair color. Amelia was great at combining my vision and her expertise to find the right balance of colors! I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great hair experience!

I followed Cassie B from her previous salon and was a little skeptical because I really liked her last salon a lot! However, after coming to Bouffant multiple times now it’s really grown on me — and I like it more!
The décor is unique, intimate, warm, inviting and the open floor with booths in just the right spots makes the salon look larger!
As far as Cassie B — she is the best! She’s done my hair for years and when I scrolled down and I didn’t see her name in the last few reviews I knew I had to sit her and give my girl Cassie some props! She really listens to who you are and what would work best for you… if you’re conservative she will hear you and go that route, or if you want crazy blond chunky streaks for 6 months like I did she will do that as well. Two of my other friends trust her color and cut skills and honestly, I’ve let Cassie do more to my hair than anyone in my life so that’s a big deal!
I will follow Cassie to whatever salon Cassie goes to but in the meantime I travel a half hour to get to where she is and I don’t mind a bit! :)

Normally I dread getting my hair cut and will go to the no wait salons. My husband and I drove past Bouffant and I made him stop as the storefront and sign caught my eye. It just sounded like my type of place.
I’m used to walk-​ins but it was easy enough to make an appointment with the lady at the front desk for later the same day.
My appointment was with Victoria and she is a superstar artist! I’m not one for chit chat so I used to hate getting my hair cut for that very reason but it felt natural talking to her! She listened to exactly what I wanted my hair to look like and I’m very pleased.
Finally found my permanent stylist!

Was hoping to make an appointment with Amelia because of the gorgeous pictures posted here, but no one has answered the salon phone despite the many days and different times I’ve called! I also cannot find the salon’s hours posted anywhere :/​very disappointed already, so I will try a different salon

Lynzy is awesome!!! I get asked, by perfect strangers, who does my hair every single time I see her… call her for an appointment you won’t be disappointed :)!

I have been searching for years for someone to cut my hair to my liking. Had my hair «fixed» by Victoria after talking with her and letting her know what I was looking for. She knew right away how to fix my hair. Trust me you are going to love Victoria!

I love this place. I followed Sharon Barnett (LOVE HER!) from her last salon, which was really nice, but this one just feels posh, relaxing, and so welcoming when you walk in, from the fashionable seating in the front area to the chandeliers lighting the main floor, and the warm color of the walls.
I’ve been offered everything from water to a glass of wine (!) and chocolate, and the folks working there are friendly and welcoming, and street parking is easy.
Of course, that’s all moot if you don’t look great at the end, and I always leave feeling fresh, pretty, and sassy with my new hair thanks to Sharon’s genius.
It’s not super-​cheap, but if that were my priority, I’d go to Super Cuts. My hair is challenging, and I feel better putting myself in the care of a master technician. These folks take a minute to consult with each other on color mixing and texture like your head is an exciting art project that MUST be shared and enjoyed, so you get the benefit of ALL the experience. Time and money well-​spent.

Immediate warmth and relaxation upon entering. A little haven. Always feel well attended to. Salon has a nice ambience.
Victoria is who I go to. She salvaged a bad cut from another «stylist» and has done consistently excellent work since. She is attentive, listens and has the chops to pull off a great style. Sassoon trained. The last two times I saw my primary care physician, since my cut, he said «Like the hair!». Doctor approved. Got complements from a style-​savvy friend whose mom is a hair/​makeup stylist. These comments speak volumes.

So I’ve been looking for a new stylist for quite a while. I love this place! Everyone is down to earth and makes you feel so very welcome.
Erica had the task of cutting my long locks into something shorter and more suitable for an over 40 woman. I was amazed at how great I looked with shorter hair as in the past, I’ve never thought I looked good with shorter hair.

Moving to San Diego from the east coast I had a hard time finding someone who could deal with my hair. I’m mixed so my hair is really curly and somewhat fine. Most black owned salons put too much product in my hair which leaves my hair greasy and weighed down and most white owned salons don’t use anything which leaves it frizzy and fluffy. I stumbled across a gem with Ally. She uses the right products to get my hair straight with just a blowout and it’s not greasy. If you have curly crazy hair I recommend Ally.
She’s also really good at color. My hair is really dark and I did an ombré on my ends and wanted a change after almost a year. I showed her a picture of a really pretty brown with some highlights and she made it looks beautiful. If you are curly or some some fancy color go to Ally!
The general atmosphere is so lively and bright. It looks upscale and I’m rather fond of the jar of mini chocolates. They have water and coffee to go with those chocolates. Sometimes parking is rough because of the bar next door but I haven’t really had problems finding a place.

First of all, I love the fabulous décor! I was greeted & offered a drink right when I arrived. Lynzy Lavonne is so personable & friendly. 4 of my friends recommended her. Great salon & great customer service!
