Dr. Wallace does not ignore his patients. He returns all e-mails(using KP.ORG) promptly. He actually took the time to call me and discuss a few concerns I had even though I am sure he had a full schedule and my questions could have probably been answered by his nurse. He is pleasant and personable. He is not quick to push medications if lifestyle changes can resolve issues. I have a lot of anxiety issues about my health, some founded, some not, yet he always treats me with respect even if my questions can border on outlandish at times. I would highly recommend him as a health care provider.

Unfortunately, finding a doctor is usually trial and error. Luckily for me, my partner had been seeing Dr. Wallace for a couple of years and was very happy with him. Two years later, now I’m a happy patient! What I like about Dr. Wallace is that he makes me feel comfortable. He explains things and I’m not intimidated to ask questions. He doesn’t give me a bunch of B.S. or harass me about things I should/should not be doing. He gives you the facts and lets you be an adult. My favorite thing is that Dr. Wallace is that he’s available via email! This is actually a Kaiser Permanente thing… questions, lab results, appointment, etc can all be found online. It’s so nice if you have a quick question or need a refill, you can shoot off an email and get an answer quickly and without having to wait or pay for an appointment. One thing… don’t be late for your appointment! Dr. Wallace is a stickler on tardiness. He must have been a school teacher or something in another life. I understand his reasons but once in awhile, shit happens! If he’s taking new patients, I highly recommend Dr. Wallace at Kaiser Permanente in Rancho San Diego.
