The equipment seemed ancient and in need of updating. I was not comfortable even taking my socks off. I would rather drive twice as far to go somewhere newer. Staff were friendly, lots of parking.

Just purchased a 20 tan package. Its moderately priced and the girl who helped us knew her stuff and was nice. Its stand up beds only, but thats ok with me. You dont get all sweaty in these booths.

I’m not an avid tanner but desperately need to get some color for an event. I chose Hollywood Tans specifically for the stand up booths. I’m totally impatient and don’t like the idea of my bits laying where other’s bits have been before. The staff was super friendly and the booths were clean. The only annoying factor was the never ending pressure to buy lotions or bronzers that supposedly get you tan faster. I don’t know a thing about the science of tanning but I wasn’t buying it. Especially at $ 6 an ounce. They have an array of options for membership packages and/​or single sessions and its pretty reasonably priced. I got right in without an appointment and didn’t have to wait.

Hollywood Tans’ packages are a bit less pricey than Itan’s, but I find their vertical-​tanning-​bed-​only feature limiting both tan-​wise and comfort-​wise. It is just nice to lay down on a nice solarium once in awhile after a hard day of work. However, if you’re plagued by germ phobia, HT might be a psychosomatically more soothing option.
