I really like this park. The structure is good for toddlers. Even my 1 yr old can handle it. I like that there isn’t sand, there are wood chips (not my favorite but better than sand). The playground is fenced in. There isn’t a ton of seating or shade though which can be a bummer if you are there when it is busy.

This is a very small park that is ENCLOSED with a gate. It is PERFECT for the little one that is just learning to walk and play. When I had a toddler and infant and I LOVED this park because I didn’t worry about the toddler running off anywhere.
This park has lots of shade, a picnic table, play structure and swings. It doesn’t have sand, it’s all wood chips.
This park is located behind the La Mesa Rec Center. If you get to the pool you’ve passed it. If you have your kiddos in swim lessons, it’s nice to stop here first and let the kids play for a bit before or after.
