I have lived in many areas in San Diego county. It’s great to have an awesome taco shop next door to where I live. My fiancé and I have gone often enough for the past 3 years and it’s always good food. It’s always clean and the staff is always friendly. Plus they serve horchata and bottled cokes. I love the enchiladas and carne asada fries. My girl prefers the chips :) Overall, you can’t really go wrong with Tito’s. Quality mexican food for quick and good prices.

We are here while on Vacation and the burritos are so filling and delicious. I had the California and it was just what I expected

The hotel desk staff said the place was open 24⁄7 by popular demand. So we gave it a try. The shrimp burrito was steamed shrimp, not grilled so it had no flavor and was microwaved, you know it was because it was too hot. The carne asada burrito however was cold to the touch. It was late night munches after being on the road all day, so we ate it but would I be back, not likely.

Good, cheap little taco shop. I haven’t had anything there that I didn’t like so far, though I usually get either a breakfast burrito or carne asada fries. They made me the biggest breakfast burrito I’ve ever seen in my life the other day, and it was pretty darn good.

Been eating here for two years now! I’ve never been disappointed! My boyfriend loves their California burritos and I devour there potato rolled tacos. One of the main reasons I love them is that they always use fresh veggies and their salsa is fantastic! The service is always fast and the cashiers are always polite. Eat here!

Really good food, probably my favorite taco shop out of all San Diego! A little pricier than the rest, but it’s worth it since it doesn’t make me sick haha the only reason why I give it 3 stars instead of 5 is because it really pisses me off to get carne Asada fries and not being able to eat more than a few because there’s just meat, guacamole and cheese on top and once that’s over you’re left with a huge amount of fries that have nothing on them. It’s like paying $ 9 for just fries. The tacos whoever, there I have not a single complaint. Best tacoshop tacos in town!

My boyfriend used to come here every week, and now we are here together extremely often. We usually come to see Nelly, who is just so sweet and caring. Always has remembered us! We have ordered everything from carne asada fries, breakfast burritos, rolled tacos etc and its always AMAZING. Huge portions and fresh ingredients. I’m shocked as to why I havent thought of writing a review sooner. This place is a must! P. s. salsa bar!

So absolutely delicious. The El Sancho burrito is seriously to die for. My boy’s had the California burritos and loved them. My youngest had the kids meal and loved it. You just can’t beat shrimp and bacon in a burrito.

ZOMG, tacos so goooood here and it’s 24⁄7. What else could one ask for? Love love love the street tacos, maybe I’m just biased against the overly elaborate Tex-Mex style tacos(served in many US Mexican-inspired restaurants) . They serve Menudo soup on Fri-Sun weekly, so get it while it lasts! Super comfort food, if you like the fun texture and depth of tripe cooked in ultra umami soup base. Also, highly recommend the Cabeza tacos, if you are into tender and juicy meat without the trepidation of unique parts from piggies. The simple onion and cilantro– based sauce with just a teeny lump of guac creates NOMMMMM effect, as it brings out fully what the meat can offer. The pollo asado tacos are very legit too — man, they know how to cook their chicken! As for carne asadas, they are not the best, but by no means bad! From me: definitely go for Los Titos when you are hungry, or not :) P. s. Staff there are really friendly. Cool arts in the space. They have their own salsa bar.

This place passes the California burrito test. I came here after going to the local brewery and it hit the spot. I hadn’t come here before, so I always try the Cali burrito first to make sure the have what it takes to satisfy a San Diego native. So nice to have a great place so close to my house and they are open 24 hours. They passed with 5 Stars!

I drive by here frequently, and decided to stop and give their carne asada burrito a try. The cashier was friendly and the place seemed fairly clean. I ordered my burrito and went to the 7 eleven to grab a couple of drinks. When I came back, my order was ready. So I grabbed my bag and it felt very light. So I took a look and saw this very under sized carne asada burrito which pissed me off. I asked the cashier, is this the normal size of your carne asada burritos in which she responded«yes» you ordered no salsa. I asked if she was sure, because I would be writing a review along with the picture. She looked confused, so I asked the cook and he responded the same. $ 6.80 Carne asada burrito… straight rip off. The picture tells it all. avoid this place. unphuking believable. 2 finger burrito. I took a bite and all tortilla… never had cotton mouth from biting into a burrito..

This place is ok, my boyfriend relies on it a lot cuz it’s open late. But never… NEVER get their guacamole on anything. If u need it, get it on the side. It’s some kind of puréed green slime

I like the fact this place is open 24 hours. I come here late nights when everything is closed. The Carni Asada fries are bomb. Everything on the menu is decent price. Great customer service.

When my husband was my boyfriend, he used to ask me if I was hungry and he’d always end up getting me tacos from Los Titos. Future husbands should take note because tacos could potentially be the way to a girl’s heart, especially if she’s PMSing. This is one of three locations and lucky for me, it’s open 24⁄7 and it’s very close to my home. The taco shop is clean, the service is friendly, and they have a salsa bar. I f*cking love salsa bars. I have never had a bad experience and I’ve never had a difficult time with parking. This taco shop has fair prices and quality ingredients in the food. There’s nothing stand out here, but there is also nothing bad here. When you’re in La Mesa after a late night at the bar and no one is responding to your Tinder messages, call in your order, and tell your Über driver to stop by Los Tito’s on your way home because a burrito is bigger than a penis and tastes better. I won’t say it’s more satisfying though ;) Pro tip for a PMSer: call in your order, pick it up, and stop by the 7⁄11 next door for a pint of Ben n Jerry’s. Make sure you have nothing to do for the rest of the day.

They’re better than most mexican places in La Mesa and everything I have tried there is good. 24 hours is nice too.

First time eating food from here. Hanging out with friends and they went on a food run. I got a California burrito(carne asada). It was pretty delish. It had fries, cheese, carne asada, and sour cream. I prefer fries vs potatoes. Not only that, but I prefer thin fries vs thick fries. The fries were still crunchy and it the burrito had the right amount of ingredients. I wouldn’t have minded if it had some pico de gallo. Another thing is I didn’t like the hot sauce very much… it was on the weak side and tasted a little watered down. Overall, the burrito was pretty good. I’d order it again. I think I’ll try something different next time though just to try more of the menu. My friends ordered other food(rolled tacos, California pollo asado burrito and other items) and had no complaints.

I’ve been coming here since they opened. I like the food here a lot. This is one of the cleanest taco shops around and the service has always been good. I’ve tried many things here and never been disappointed. One of my favorites would have to be potato tacos. I’m not sure about the negative reviews regarding burrito size, mine have always been very large, including yesterday. They use better quality ingredients here which I think makes a difference in taste, but to each his own.

The quality at this place is starting to slide I’ve noticed since I was here last since 7 – 8 months ago. Their burritos are definitely way smaller( ), definitely smaller than a typical San Diego taco shop burrito. While their carne asada remains great, their other ingredients have started to slide. Their french fries were soggy and seemed a little undercooked. The sour cream and guac they use, come out of tubes(like Taco Bell), which is totally unacceptable for taco shops. Making your own ingredients should be part of your pride. Guac should come from avocados, not caulking guns. After trying one of their deluxe quesadillas( ), I’ve noticed they don’t really know what a quesadilla is, its more like a burrito at this place. Their hot sauce doesn’t seem as good either, very disappointing. Sorry to see the place has changed for the worse, especially since its the only twenty four hour taco shop in the Lake Murray /La Mesa area. EDIT: The business owner of this place has corrected me, he has said their guac is made fresh every day and then loaded up. He also says their steak meat is Angus quality grade meat. Maybe I caught this place on an off day, I’ll have to give it another shot.
