Oh, she’s good… real good.
She’s been cutting my hair for a couple of years now; I followed her over from her last place.
I don’t have a lot to work with but I love the results and always get compliments.
She’s the real deal if you’re looking for a stylist in La Mesa.
(Her place is right behind Pete’s so you can grab a cold one before/​after.)

I actually started having Kelly do my hair when she was at a different salon. I followed her when she came to Pure Expressions because she is wonderful! She cuts, colors and highlights my hair and has really improved not just the look of my hair but the health as well. I love my hair now and haven’t been able to say that for a long time. She also cuts my daughters hair and does our brow waxing which just makes it super convenient. Aside from her great work she is really nice and great to work with and talk to. She really cares about her clients and takes great pride in her work. Can’t recommend her enough!

I’m so glad I found this salon and Felicia. My friend who has great looking hair referred me and now I know why. I had a horrible experience at another salon in April and Felicia did a terrific job with highlights and lowlights to blend things in and give me a great transitional color while my natural color comes back. She also gave me a great layered bob that I can work with. Thank you for saving my hair!

Felicia is amazing. She has done my hair off and on for a few years now. She always listens to what you want but does an even better job with the ideas you give her. Her highlights are amazing too. If you want to be blonde, not orange, this is the lady to go see!

Felicia does a great job! If you are looking for an experienced stylist to give you a new look or to manage the one you’ve got, check her out. She offers a full service (wash & cut) in a fun environment and at reasonable price. I have been a customer of the shop for almost a year now.
