The Wensel Group

I am very pleased with the work done by the Wensel Group. I moved into a fix-​upper about 5 years ago. At the time, everything needed to be updated but I really wanted to get the back yard done first so we had a place to relax. I would say I probably met with 9 different contractors between pool contractors and landscape companies. Some had better sales teams then others but it is really difficult to decide who to settle with. I had a referral from a couple family friends with a very well known pool company but I did not have a good feeling about the sales team or the price for everything I wanted.
When I met with the Wensel Group, Troy came out to my place and looked at some of my sketches for what I wanted. He was very good about explaining each facet of the design I liked, what it would cost, and how I could play with the idea a little to either make it look better or bring down the price. Ultimately I felt very confident with my decision in using Troy for the project. His company did everything working with different sub-​contractors so I didn’t have to deal with two contracting companies at once for the pool and the yard.
Troy used our existing pool shape to design the remodel and add a hot tub. He helped to oversee the project all the way to make sure all the details were taken care of. Getting your entire yard and pool done is no small task and it did take time but I am very happy with my results and overall experience in service, price, and attention to detail.

This is a great remodel and landscape company. I first came across the owner 3 years ago when he remodeled my parents backyard. They did a fantastic job, not only in designing the new look but also completely reconstructing the pool and expanding the existing hot tub. I was very impressed with the work and when I met the owner he told me they do commercial landscape also.
I’m a commercial real estate agent so I have clients ask me for landscape recommendations. I have given out the Wensel Group recommendation several times and all my owners who used their services are always happy. Our management team now uses them for any of our outdoor construction jobs.
