Imperial Tire Plus

Art at Imperial Tires is the BEST. My husband and I have had both of our vehicles serviced by Art, and our tires replaced. For me, excellent service is important and certainly lacking in many businesses. Art provides amazing service and he is a genuine, kind person. Five stars all the way.

I chose them from a Google search based on their convenient hours and location. I had hit a nasty pothole, severely damaging two of my wheels beyond repair. The dealership wanted $ 615 per wheel plus labor but I was able to purchase 2 brand new wheels online from Minnesota for $ 500 with free shipping. However I needed someone to mount, balance, and rotate the tires.
For $ 40, these guys did the job in under half an hour. They also filled my donut and showed me the damages on the original wheels. Right before I left, they stopped me so they could check and adjust my tire pressure.
I felt like they were honest and genuine. Should I have tire issues again, I’ll call them before calling the dealership!

Finding a shop you can trust is hard but I believe I found one. I needed some tires and got some recommendations from Art. I was planning on scheduling the work but ended up with a screw in my tire and was in a pinch. I talked to Leo and they went above and beyond for me. They did everything they said they would and delivered. I had another place I went to before but staffing changes left doubt in me. If you need tires or a brake job, call Leo or Art and tell them Tony sent you, they’d appreciate that.

These people are without exaggeration «AMAZING». As I was driving to work down on Imperial Hwy I noticed one of my tires was deflated. I was lucky to have just passed this place so I pulled up here. I was even luckier to find an auto mechanic I can now trust. Picture this, my tire was done for and what they did was incredible. Art, the owner, got someone to replace the tire right away and got me back on the road. I asked him if he could give me a price on both of the back tires which I was planning to buy a few weeks later. He not only shopped around for the best deal for me, he replaced the tire for free with the promise that I would come here to buy the new ones. Talk about trusting someone!!! Not only I came back for the tires I have now recommended all of my family and friends to come to this place for all of his auto repair needs. That’s how you win in any business, always looking after your customers! Thank you guys!

I have known the proprietor, Artie Sanchez, for 20 years or more (when he was at BigO Fullerton). When the owner there shut down, Artie got this place and I couldn’t be happier for him — integrity is his middle name, just sayin’. He will always give you the straight scoop, he is my Mexican ohana! And the only one let touch my car. Leo is his right hand, here since 2010 and can even put up with me! You cannot do better making these people your ONLY shop!

I have used Imperial Tire Plus for the last two repairs. One for my 1999 Toyota Pickup and the other for my wifes 2010 Toyota Camry. My first visit to this shop was not even for a repair. I was walking by and noticed how clean and nice this shop was so I stopped in. I was talking with Art (the owner) and told him I would soon be in the market for repairs and new tires for my wifes car and that I would maybe give him a shot at the repair. I was walking on my way to a restaurant far up the hill from his shop. He offered to give me a ride to the restaurant, but I couldn’t accept that generosity and told him I would walk. How’s that for customer service without even being a customer!!! A few weeks later I brought my truck in for repairs and spoke to Leo the Service Mgr. Leo was very through and explained everything that would happen with my repair. He gave me the cost and offered my one of their «shop» cars to drive myself home. The repair was completed on time and exactly as agreed to. The price was well below what I expected to pay.
A month or so later I brought my wife car in for 4 new struts and 4 new Michelin tires. Art the owner greeted me with his usual sincere greeting, smile and handshake. I told him what repairs and service I needed and he immediately put his mechanic on it and again offered me a shop car to drive home. The repairs were made exactly as agreed and at a price well below what I had expected.
This shop is well maintained and you just can’t ask for better customer service than what you will get at Imperial Tire Plus. This shop is a little further from my home in La Habra than I would normally drive to for service, but I will be glad to drive that extra few miles for the extra great service that Art and his staff offer.
I would highly recommend that you give Art a chance for your auto repair/​service needs. Just drop by and visit like I did, you won’t be sorry. 15 Stars if I could!!!

Imperial tire plus is the best mechanic shop in town. Ask for Art or Leo, they are honest and will show you exactly what your car needs. Many of my friends have gone here and have become Loyal customers. I have been a loyal customer for two years and these guys are great!!! Please check it out!

I lived in La Mirada for eight years, and this became my very favorite shop! I discovered Imperial Tire Plus because it was close, and I needed to get a tire replaced quick! I kept going because Art and his team are great people and earned my loyalty. While this is a tire shop, they do all kinds of repairs. I once had my old Accord station wagon there and they took care of everything after I’d been in a small collision. I think they even drove it to another place to have the frame straightened out.
This place has good prices, and what’s more, they will earn your loyalty. None of that recommending every single little thing to scare you into spending way more than you need. These guys are the real deal. They earned my trust and loyalty and they’ll earn yours, too.
In August, I moved to Michigan and they checked my car over and fixed it up before I made the big drive out here. New wheel bearings and a full size spare (which can be tough to find for a Volvo). They got it all together and my car’s been working great. Now I’m here in Michigan, about to get snow tires put on and I only hope I can find mechanics like the ones at Imperial Tire Plus. Good & honest people. Give them a try. They’ll make a regular out of you!

well this is my 4^th or 5^th time I come here this time my Chrysler 300c water pump went out yesterday I called imperial tires talked to leo over the phone told him my car been over heating he said it could be a few thing that could be wrong with it so just bring it in I brought it in around 11:30 am or so dropped it off I need to get to work they where so kind to let me barrow the shop car to get to work at no extra charge which I was amazed so a hour or two later i get a call from leo telling me the water pump went out and it was going to be so much I told him go ahead get it done I get another call around 5pm or so from leo that my car was done leo said they call at 6 pm and I didn’t get off till 6pm leo was so nice to stay open and wait till I got there if that’s not customer service I don’t know what is great and fast service awesome customer service thanks again leo

Had to do a follow up review on this place.
My husband originally purchased new tires for his truck because Art the owner gave us such a great price. Believe me when I tell you my husband shopped these tires everywhere.
Same situation when it came to my car, husband shops like crazy, then calls Art and gets the same tires and same size for almost 20% lower than he could find anywhere else.
We went in, they immediately started the work and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes.
We are now customers for life.

Expensive!!! Go here if you want to get ripped off. I took my Toyota here after I spoke with Leo on the phone, and he quoted me $ 167 for replacing an axle, which is a decent price. (I didn’t want to drive all the way to my mechanic in East L.A. when this place is closer.) I used one of my 4 AAA tows to get the car over there and after they looked at the car they told me I needed a new spindle (which is an axle), a new strut and had to press and replace the bearings too. All together he quoted me $ 1000. I told him that was too much and that I would shop around. I had AAA tow me again all the way to East L.A. to my mechanic and left the car with him for a couple of days. He called me and said all that was wrong with it was a bent strut, which he replaced for $ 120 labor and parts. I then took it to an alignment place that he referred me to and they only charged me 35. (they charge $ 60) The car now drives like it was brand new and I saved $ 845. What really got me upset is that Leo told me a new spindle by itself would cost $ 240. First thing I did when I got home was check the price on Autozone’s website and found it to only be 59.99. I think these guys need to be careful as to who they try to take advantage of because nowadays people can do a little homework on the internet now and find out a scam easily.
In response to Leo’s comment below: I’ll give you guys credit for hoisting the car up and inspecting the car for free. Thank you for that. All the car really NEEDED was a strut to get it back on the road and driving. The car is 17 years old and is my only mode of transportation to get back and forth to work. I’ve already put more than 2000 miles on it in the last month going from Norwalk to Hollywood everyday and it hasn’t given me a single problem. Consumers, check the autozone link below and you will find that one front spindle for a 1996 Toyota Avalon is only $ 59.99.

That was the only repair done to the car and it drives great even for a 17 year old car. So I guess my point would be that if you have a brand new car and want to pay more for parts than Autozone would charge this might be the place for you but if you’re like me and have an older car that doesn’t really NEED all of these things, I’d consider going somewhere else. As to my other reviews I would like to say that they’re mixed. Some good and some bad. I just call em like I see em.

Just as it says, this is place, As good as it gets! if anyone has car problem, go here you will never regret! I went for wheel alignment and this guy recommanded other stuff so i don’t waste money. This place is honest and very good service!

Ask for Art. The service was amazing but not only great service also an amazing job with my alignment. Cherry he even checked things on my car that I didn’t ask him to not so sell me more services but to make me aware and educate me on things going on with my car!!! Would definitely come back and recommend to others!!! My mom already set an appointment to get her alignment done with Art!!! Thanks again you have another loyal customer to add to your list.

These guys where awesome my brakes where making noise I though I needed them right away they inspected them and told me they where noisy but, could still drive about another 2 months they where still safe. I was really surprised how honest and comfortable they made me feel. I came back 2 months later and had them do my brakes. they explained everything and all my choices before they did them. I would highly recommend this all around shop to everyone two of my friends are going there now too. they say the same things about them. Art is awesome thanks Art.
