No, it’s been a long day and they want to go home. Any other store(Target, etc) kicks you out the minute they close. Why did you come in 5 minutes before closing BOTH times? I’ve been to several hallmarks and twice I’ve come here about 5mins before closing and the doors were already locked and the employees jousting standing at the counter refusing to open the door. Terrible. Maybe they should change their hours to sometimes 5 mins early if we’re tired of dealing with customers.

If I could… I would give this place 0 stars. The«owner» is the rudest person I have encountered in a store. Beyond glaring at customers and being snippy, she is dishonest. We were sold an ornament that required another part, but we’re not told this, a part the store did not even carry. I went back the same night and was told to come in the morning to see the owner. The sales clerks said that it was the store’s fault for not telling me when I bought it. When I returned and spoke to the owner, she implied that I was stupid and flat out refused a return or even an apology. Her response was«we will have more next year, what’s the big deal.» Upset I smashed the ornament to the ground and stormed out. I returned a minute later, and she had put the ornament back on the shelf to sell… awful awful person. Will never return.

This is my spot when I need to pick up a greeting card. They have all kinds of cards for every celebration you could think of. I’ve been picking up cards which range from birthdays, weddings, bridal showers… Basically they have a huge variety! After all, it is Hallmark. I prefer to come here over Target or a drug store because I’m quickly in and out of the store and I never have to wait in line. I park directly in front of the store in the green 20 minute parking area and walk ten steps and I’m inside. Another plus is that the ladies that work here are very friendly and always greet you as you walk in. I came by today on my lunch break to pick up a card for a birthday I’m attending this weekend, and they gave me two cute little mini date calendars for free!

The girl that helped me was awesome put my gifts in the gift bags and put some tissue paper all decked out that’s what us guys need is help thanks! I’ll be back for sure great selection of cards and quick gifts for guys that wait until the last minute!

Hallmark stores seem to be decreasing in number throughout the years. I do not see nearly as many Hallmark stores anymore. Used to be that every mall had one. I guess people send e-mail cards and other greetings through the computer, phone, and other devices nowadays. So when we saw Joy’s Hallmark Shop, we were happy to check them out. We decided to get all the greeting cards we needed for the next couple of months. After 30 minutes, we found all that we needed. Ended up buying about a dozen cards overall for the various occasions coming up. Each card that we bought had exactly the message we wanted to convey to the respective person or persons. This Hallmark shop had many other items besides greeting cards. We did not have a chance to browse though. The shop was clean and organized. Had to dock them a star because the staff ignored us when we walked in. The two staff members just kept talking to each other and a patron. Still, I would not hesitate to come here again for our future greeting card needs. Remember Hallmark’s slogan: «When You Care Enough To Send The Very Best»

I came into this Hallmark a few days ago to look for a ornament sold out at all the other stores in my area. The staff was very helpful, called their sister store, which had the ornament in stock, and the owner, Paul, who was present at the time, gave them permission to reserve the ornament for me to purchase. I left my contact information, and two days later received a call from the staff here letting me know the ornament was waiting for me at this location. I returned to the store to make the purchase, and had an absolutely horrible interaction with another of the owners, Mina. She apparently did not agree that I should have been allowed to purchase the ornament, and would have preferred to sell it to one of her«regular» customers. After questioning me over and over about why I didn’t buy the ornament at my «regular» Hallmark(they were sold out), whether I am an ornament club member(I am), and basically looking for any reason to NOT sell me this ornament, she reluctantly rang it up – but only after letting me know she would not honor a coupon I had in hand(valid on any purchase) because, as she stated, a lot of other people want to buy this ornament. Seriously??? I realize that franchise locations can create their own policies re: coupons, but at least come up with a better excuse than that. You are seriously going to restrict coupons based on demand for an item??? A shady business practice if I ever saw one. I did not want to overpay for this particular ornament on eBay, so I saw the transaction through, and resolved never to give this owner my business again. I understand the desire to foster repeat business, and provide incentives for your best customers, but this person’s attitude was way out of line. She stated that I should shop here more often – to earn the right to make certain purchases without being harassed, presumably. No thanks, I will continue to frequent stores that are happy to have any of my business and that do not treat their customers this way.

My annual hunt for Hallmark Ornaments(part 2) I was looking for an Ironman Ornament(my son’s fav), They didn’t have it either. But found a better deal. 70% off of 2011 Ornaments. My son was born last year and upon looking through the 4 bins of 2011 Hallmark Ornaments, I found 4 great ones. A «First Christmas» ornament with the #1 on it. A Curious George ornament, I already got the 2012 one. A Mug with a baby inside and the wording«SON2011», didn’t see this last year. A «CARS» ornament(son fav too) I paid $ 15 for all 4 and saved $ 35, score… I hope they have this sale next year again, because I’m coming here first.

I know it has been said that when you want to give the very best, you give Hallmark. Of all the Hallmark stores I have ever visited, this one became my favorite from the moment I walked in. I was greeted at the door by Joyce with such a warm smile that it was effortless for me to approach her and ask her for help. Within the first few minutes of our conversation, she knew exactly what I was looking for. Her knowledge of the store was impressive and low keyed which made it even more fun for me to ask her for suggestions and her opinions. I left delighted and happy that I now have my favorite Hallmark store. Check it out, and ask for Joyce. You will see what I mean.

I been shopping for some time at Joy’s Hallmark Shop and have always found what I was looking for. There is so much merchandise there I usually have to ask for help to find what I want but the staff is the most helpful and friendly i have found in any store. They will stop whatever they happen to be doing and answer questions and help you find what you are looking for. It’s a pleasure to do business there.

This Hallmark has some of the nicest staff I’ve ever encountered at a Hallmark. They are always very friendly and helpful. Every time I’ve been in a rush and needed to find something quick, I just walk over to one of them and ask for help and I’m out the store in minutes. I can’t give this 5 stars because it’s been looking a bit like they’re in remodel mode the last few times I’ve been there. Not sure if its been between«Holiday’s» or if the store is actually in repair.

I love coming to this Hallmark store. I usually find what I’m looking for and the staff is always friendly. They are really good about providing you with the gold seals even if you don’t ask. They automatically know what to provide their customers without the customer having to ask. To me this is what keeps customers coming back to a place. Of course the bonus for me is that work is nearby so I can usually come here during a lunch break and find what I need and go back to work all in the confines of one hour(and even eat my meal). You can’t beat that.
