Rockview Dairy

Very helpful, high quality service and reasonable prices.

When I lived in the area a couple of decades ago, I made this my de facto spot for quality low-​fat and fat-​free milk — and even higher-​quality service, since the staffers here were always helpful and dependable. Besides, since Rockview was a long-​established business in the neighborhood, who cared about its being as hip or pretty as a recycling center?
Well, things change over the years. My better half and I now drink low-​fat Silk soy milk — after all, even we old farts now regard getting more calcium and leaving a smaller carbon footprint as top priorities — so even if I were to visit this veteran Rockview, I don’t know if I’d see the Silk in stock. (Come to think of it, what’s the point of going to a dairy store for a soy product?)
Three stars for a nice, dependable team … and good memories from long ago.
