Came to this bakery for the first time yesterday. I purchased cupcakes and cookies for family. Everyone loved them. Today I came back to get breakfast burritos for a group. Everyone was very happy with the portion and the freshness of ingredients. I wax happy with the reasonable price. We have found a great option for breakfast, lunch, and desserts. Should have tried this bakery months ago.

Super nice and clean location. Staff is super friendly and there to help you. The cake came out awesome and so delicious. we only offered the picture we wanted and they decorated the cake it came so nice. Thank you guys for helping make my sons birthday a memorable one! Can’t wait to order again!

The s’more cupcake is delicious! I purchased 7 cupcakes and and a cake every single person raved about the flavors. I will definitely be purchasing all my goodies here from now on.

I’ve only been here several times. We would normally order spaghetti and cupcakes which are delicious. It’s been awhile since we’ve come here and we stopped by this morning to get some coffee. Everything was good! The coffee, cannoli, breakfast sandwich, and especially the exceptional service! Memo is the man! The owner should be proud of his employees with how they provide service. You can tell the employees take pride in the food because it is good!

They make good snickerdoodles cookies. My son was very happy as it was moist and the right amount of sugar and cinnamon. They put a fair amount of frosting on their cupcakes, and my family enjoyed a couple.

This place is amazing! Great service and in such short notice! The cake was excellent and the most gorgeous cake i’ve had in my life :) the butter cream with fondant and strawberry mouse filling was delicious!

If you are looking for an amazing bakery in the La Mirada area Sugar and Spice is the place to go. Love the cupcakes, with so many options to choose from you cant go wrong. The sandwiches and breakfast food are amazing, huge portions, and a great price. Every time I go in everyone is very friendly and helpful.
Looking for a place to host a fundraiser? Sugar and spice is a great option. Just had a fundraiser here and the owner was amazing and everyone loved the food. They were very accommodating and friendly. I am still hearing from people how wonderful everything tasted!
Will be going back again for sure!!!

I placed an order do my sons birthday cake on a Saturday for a Thursday birthday party; very easy to place an order. Picked up the cake Thursday (today) and it looked exactly how I wanted it, simple, smooth and cute!!! Now let’s get to the flavor… I ordered my sons favorite flavors without even doing a taste test, banana cake with strawberry mousse and … Oh… My… Goodness I was so pleasantly surprised it was moist and so delicious!!! I wish I had ordered my wedding cake here! Everyone loved it and everyone asked where I ordered it from!!! I’ll be returning for all future bakery needs!!!

This place is great! Rad bakery with a lot of options for savory and sweet. Their prices are fair, and their service is good. Also, they keep the dining area very clean. It was annoying that they don’t take credit cards unless you spend over $ 5.00.
The Oreo cupcake I had from there was amazing. Super good texture, very fresh. It also came in a little plastic to-​go case which is really great if you want to get something for the road. I would definitely go back!

Overpriced. If you need a Smash cake, got it for free at Albertsons. They’re yummy and cute.
If price is not an object then this is a great place. Cake artist is very good!

I have been to Sugar and Spice a couple of times, usually for cupcakes. Their cupcakes are really good and they have a large selection of flavors.
I have purchased 2 cakes from here as well. The first one was a lemon cake that was very delicious. Most recently I ordered a cake for my daughters birthday. It was a red velvet cake with cream cheese filling. It was also delicious!

Last minute I needed not just one cake but two. Not only did they make an exception an make my cakes but they came out amazing!!! So
Tasty! I ordered the lemon with cream cheese an chocolate with cream feeling. It was a party hit. Thank you sugar & spice!!!

I would say their cupcakes are grocery store quality at best. I had one that was strawberry cake with strawberry frosting ($ 2) and another that was vanilla cake with blueberry filling & frosting ($ 2.75). If you take a look a my pictures, you can see they’re pretty small. They’re not even as wide as the circumference of the water bottle. They LACK ANY FLAVOR! The cake and the frosting are very dry.
I also had a raspberry meringue. That was tasty and super light. Too bad it cracked during baking.
When you walk into a bakery, you expect a delicious aroma. However this one has a very off smell. I can’t put my finger on it, but it’s definitely not food. Lastly customer service was okay.

One of my fellow Unilocaler recommended this place to me. I’ve decided to go to Sugar & Spice Bakery last Sunday afternoon for some delicious cupcakes. Great variety!!!
I’ve ordered myself 4 cupcakes. Two marble cake with chocolate mousses, 1 chocolate tiramisu, and 1 vanilla tiramisu. Before I went home with those cupcakes, I’ve took a few pictures in here, including the cupcakes I purchased. When I got home, I was able to eat some cupcakes, I must say its so yummy. It was heaven.
They also have sandwiches which I may get next time I come back over here.

I love Unilocal and I love when people are outrageous in their everyday walk in life. Diana the lady that wrote a bad review, is a Unilocaler that shouldn’t Unilocal.I mere wench if you ask me today was my first time @ Sugar & Spice sure hell won’t be my last. place is ultra friendly, amazing service and next to perfect sandwiches.
I was at S&S when the wicked witch of Group on came in. She wouldn’t allow the staff to explain to her the reason behind Group on deal. I have been on both sides of the counter on group on its annoying because there is no specifics. so at the end of the day its their business and they can run it as such.
Ladies and gentleman Sugar & Spice is refreshment from what La Mirada has to offer. don’t judge because of one helpless Unilocaler that is in complete manic depression! This place is LEGIT!
