I still enjoy shopping at Encore, even if the prices are wee bit steep for resale items are not luxury labels. The back room can hold great deals, but consistency is the name of the game to find a real bargain.
There’s no website, but if you stop by, you can add your email to their list to get notifications of upcoming markdowns and clearance sales.

Had a mini-​shopping-​palooza today and hit a few of the clothing consignment shops (Prima Donna, Swap, Encore, and On the Other Hand) uptown in search of a formal gown that would fit my short, curvy self.
Encore Shop is in the University Section and as I’ve said before benefits the Symphony. Much of their stock skews a bit older, so if I had been looking for a mother of the bride dress, I would have been very happy with the gown selection. That said you never know what you will find in there and I was very tempted by a vintage Coach bag that was priced well.
