Well, one would think that a company with great reviews would simply hold the bow steady so to speak. Nearly two years ago, I commented«FINALLY, a company that seems to remember that the customer is their lifeline and is always right». Unfortunately, someone at Frontpoint with too much money, too much time or a need to justify their existence(or a combination of all of the previous) decided to fix what was not broken. And, to make matters worse, instead of heeding customer’s(lifeline) feedback and admitting their mistake, they have opted to stay the flawed course. The website was fine from the start and RED means stop while GREEN means go — its really universal. People DONOT want green yardsigns announcing their alarm company and I sure do not need to see some ridiculous guy shoving a coffee cup my way when I go to the company website. Seriously, offer something to improve function and stop with absurd website and sign changes that NOCUSTOMERASKEDFOR. The staged press release nonsense announcing the big change was embarrassing. I AMNOWVERYDISAPPOINTEDWITHFRONTPOINT.

From the initial call, to the final installation, outstanding customer service. I wasn’t sure about the self installation, nor was I sold on the wireless technology. But with the 30-day money back guarantee, I figured it was worth a shot. Once we decided on the initial equipment needed, it took about 4 days for the equipment to arrive. Upon arrival, I set the system up, installed the sensors and performed an equipment check with the monitoring station in less than hour. No tools were needed. Also, the system is wireless, so even if the power is out or the phone lines are cut, you still have monitoring. We plan on adding thermostats, video cameras and lighting controls in the near future. I like the modular approach, so you can minimize upfront costs, and pay as you add more features. The monthly monitoring fee is a little higher than other hardwired security systems we looked into, but that cost was more than offset by the low upfront costs, as well as the ability to add features as needed. Overall great product and outstanding customer service. Highly recommend FrontPoint Security.

FrontPoint Security has been protecting both my home and office for about 3 years now. I’m super happy with the service. Having a single keyfob which can arm/disarm both my house & office is pretty nice. The cameras are effective, and I love that they would call the fire department if my smoke detector goes off. The few times I’ve called support, I’ve received prompt replies. My mom is buying a house, and I’ll be glad to have FrontPoint watching out for her too.
