Around the corner from the Best Western French Quarter Landmark, we walked by many times saying«we have to try it before we go,» and finally we did. It’s quite good, personable sophisticated service, excellent food, high prices though in line with the area and the quality of cuisine. The oyster«stew,» and I don’t know why they put the«stew» in quotation marks(maybe it’s part of a Voltaire play I don’t know about) is one of the finest appetizers I’ve had anywhere. I enjoyed the local fish of the day, and the chief of staff liked her steak frites which is what she almost always orders in a french restaurant. Leave room for dessert.
