When I moved from Mexico City to NOLA I was panicking because I didn’t know where to get my hair done, but luckily we find alphonse!
I’ve been going here for over 2 years and would never go anywhere else in the city! He is amazing with what he does, plus he’s sweet and courteous.
I never tell him what I want and he just does what he knows will look good and I leave super happy every single time!

Do not get eyelash extensions here. I hate to leave a horrible review. I’ve only had one service done here but I feel it needs to be known that this person has NO idea what he is doing with eyelash extensions. He not only took over two hours to do it — because he had clearly messed up… he got glue in my eye which burned like crazy multiple times and he glued my right eye almost completely together. I just went to get the lashes redone and the girl who did them confirmed that the glue he had used was wrong — it was extremely chunky when it should look natural. Again, I have no idea about his other services but it is borderline dangerous for him to be offering this service when he very clearly has no idea how to do it properly.

Best cut I’ve ever had. Alphonse really knows his way around a straight razor, all around great service. I had been looking for someone who could do a really feminine asymmetrical pixie cut for a long time and Alphonse is a true artist.

Alphonse is fantastic! I really enjoy the one on one atmosphere of his shop. I have been completely happy with my experiences there. It is just Alphonse, so make sure you book earlier than later!
