Great local neighborhood place to get froyo. Limited selection of yogurt but it works if u have a craving at 9 o clock at night and don’t feel like driving all the way uptown to Yogurtland which has the best yogurt in the city.

Ok, I swear I already reviewed this joint but maybe I’m getting old? Unilocal, you better not be taking down my reviews without telling me! Oy vey! Hehe… Anywho, this is my neighborhood froyo place and I am addicted. As I’ve said in precious froyo reviews, I am a froyo addict and I own it. I remember fondly when they put up the sign they were opening up a Tutti frutti here! Yay! I had options besides the ridiculously overpriced Pinkberry or the froyo place in Lakeview that closes too early or the Tutti Frutti that is a ways across from Mt.‘Carmel which by the way the owner of this Tutti frutti owns that one as well. I really love this spot! There is always ample parking, tons of flavors, the store is bright and colorful, service is friendly, and the toppings are fresh! I usually stick with simple flavors(sweet ones like chocolate or vanilla bc I don’t like the tart flavors) and put a ton of toppings like strawberries, blueberries, cookie dough, chocolate chips etc. And an added bonus is that they have a frequent buyer card which I’ve filled out one so I have a free one headed my way’ woohoo! I heart this little spot, I really do! So if you ever want to get me a present then a giftcard here would rock! Hehe… hint hint Happy froyo eating!

I’m going to venture a guess that the people who gave this place bad reviews have never been to a self serve froyo place before. Unlimited samples + good selection of self serve froyo + good toppings = 5 stars.

I hadn’t heard of the chain until it popped up in my neighborhood. It’s a self-serve frozen yogurt joint where you can get as much as you want and then load it up with random toppings and they weigh it and you hope you don’t end up with a $ 10 cup of dessert. The facility itself is very clean and shiny and a different world from the previous business that used to occupy this space. The yogurts were pretty yummy and the nice gal behind the counter let us try a few flavors before we decided. I liked the Salted Caramel and the Death by Chocolate. The wife liked the strawberry and ended up getting 10 oz. of that one. It was nice and tangy. The going rate is .49 per ounce; $ 5 can get you a nice sized cup of yum. Come summer time I think this may become a regular thing for us.
