Jong In Lee, MD

Dr. Lee was my doctor when I was a child, and he is my son’s doctor now. I have never had an issue with the doctor or his staff, they’re amazingly polite and great at what they do. Highly recommended.

He is a decent pediatrician that will tell you how things are straight. But he is pretty stubborn and doesn’t quite explain things to me when I ask questions. It is probably just a language barrier since I am not fluent in Korean. He does speak some English and understands okay. He is nice and firm with his decisions which are very important as a pediatrician because confidence is necessary to convey. The assistants are usually very nice, too.
It’s a small office and not super busy so they can usually accommodate scheduling. Even if you are not Korean, I’d still recommend him because his assistants speak fluent English.

Not sure what the other reviewer is talking about… I’ve only had positive experiences here so far. The staff and the doctor are friendly and competent. My youngest daughter is just 14 months and does not like male doctors so she actually hates this place but that’s not Dr. Lee’s fault because he does try to put her at ease. She’s just very… particular. Anyway, I’ve never had a problem scheduling appointments… usually am able to get the same day visit and if not, it’s within a very reasonable time frame. And the wait is never long either. I’ve never had to have Dr. Lee paged after business hours so I don’t know how good he is with returning calls after hours, but judging from how quickly I am able to speak with him over the phone when I call during business hours, I’m assuming he’d be good with that as well. Overall, I’m glad we found Dr. Lee and we’ll probably stick with him for a good long time =)

This is more about his office staff… I called the office as they were sending faxes to my home and not a doctors office. When I asked to speak to the Office Manager… the lady asked my name. which I gave, then asked who I was with, I said myself, please connect me to the office manager.
I was then told that the office manager doesn’t take cold calls… I said this is not sales… please connect me to the office manager. The lady then asked why am I calling, I said please connect me to the office manager. She refused so I said you are faxing my home… please stop.
Then suddenly, the lady was nice and apologized for faxing to my home.
Just transfer the call with a name. you don’t need all the details before the transfer.
Horrible.
