Rosewick Wine & Spirits

Very good local wine and spirits store. Great variety of both wines and beer and some nice liquor selections. Guys are always helpful and cordial. Great store appearance and layout, well it, nice displays

Great selection of beers, Whiskey and Rum (what I shop for most). One of the only place in the La Plata area that has the Jameson Black Irish Whiskey. That get an extra star in my book for that alone. The staff has always been helpful whenever I go there.

Good selection of beer, but the prices suck.

One of the best liquor stores in town. Great layout, clean and well-​lit. Always a great selection of new porters to try. I always go in for Guinness, but I always end up walking out with some newly discovered dark brew.

Lately I’ve gone in to buy wine and come out empty handed, not liking the selection. They used to have a nice selection of «top rated value» wines in a display where I would buy a few bottles for $ 12-​$ 14 each. Lately, the «value» wines in that display are all over $ 20.
Outside of that display, there are little/​no «value» indicators such as points displayed on a piece of paper next to the wine. I
Finally, there doesn’t seem to be many varietals as there could be. For example, there are a ton of Chardonnays but only one Gwurtztraminer.

Great place!
The floors, lighting, spacing, layout, and woodwork definitely gives it an upscale feel. It’s not a scary, dark liquor store where I would hesitate walking into, which is far more typical. It’s so easy to find exactly what I want in the manner the wines are organized.
It’s pretty inviting and on early Friday evenings they offer wine tastings. I almost always walk out with AT LEAST one item from a tasting. I love knowing that I’m going to like the wine before I buy a bottle.
If I go in on a day without a tasting or if I don’t know exactly what I want, I go to the round displays of top rated value wines and pick something that looks good. They change what is in that display enough that I always pick something interesting and new.
The folks there are super nice and helpful.
While I normally go in there for wine, they have an amazing selection of microbrew and other products (i.e., whipped alcohol, razzberry snapps, etc.).

This place is great. It has everything you are looking for with a great price.

Dis da type of place LaPlata been needin’ fo a long time. The best selection of wine & beer around. Thats right brutha knows about a micro brew, ya heard. They always be nice when I go. I like da old dude wit tha tattoo. Prices be ahite too.

Great selection of wine and micro-​brews. The workers are experts in their field and friendly. They treat you more like a friend if you go there often enough. While it can be expensive its well worth it as the service and well maintained, clean, well organized store makes it pleasant to shop in.
