Walgreens

We just moved to La Porte and my wife needed to get her meds from another State. The Pharmacist, young lady, was very helpful and cheery. She even welcomed us to La Porte as new residents.
We bought several items, more than we needed, while waiting for the meds. The store was clean, well lit and definitely well stocked.

I have worked in La Porte since 2006 and can’t imagine a week where I haven’t visited this Walgreens location. The location is in «old La Porte» and is around serveral small businesses. The staff is always friendly and always willing to help. There is one associate that works the front registers there, that deserves a lot of credit, and her name is Candy (might be «Kandy»).
Gosh! Candy has been there, as long as I can remember and is always a pleasure to talk too. She is always ready to help and always is recommending new products, that Walgreens may have recently picked up. The really nice part is that she knows that ad pretty well too. I remember there have been times to where I have gone in, not looking at the ad prior, and getting something, and then at the checkout counter, Candy says, «Hold on one second, there is a Walgreens coupon in the ad paper too.» Now, that’s what I call customer service!!! THANKS CANDY!!!
Other then Candy, the sore is always «well lit,» with no burned out bulbs or anything like that, and is ALWAYS CLEAN! Now, I have been to some «grungy» pharmacies and this is not one of them. Management is always around and always showing that they are there to help too, which is nice because they don’t think that they are «better» then the rest of the staff!
