Good option for the small town of LaPorte. We were hungry and excited to eat our General Tso, Orange Chicken and House Lo Mein. They provided a great price and portions, the flavors were good but I felt the chicken was minimal inside the fried coating and dry.

Worst Chinese food I have had, ever! I ordered lo mein and it was ok, but it came with half the container filled with some kind of flavorless, yellow rice. Definitely not fried rice, white rice, or saffron favored rice(which would not be a Chinese side dish). The other order was for Hunan Beef. It should have been Hunan Onions – I had to throw away a plate full of onions and found very little beef. The cost was higher than other places, too. Chicken Lo Mein was the special –it must have had a special high price. Thus was my first time to the Wok & Roll and it will absolutely be my last . We eat Chinese food regularly. It really takes a lot to be voted my very worst.

Decent Chinese. The lunch specials are cheap and you get a lot – what I’d expect from a Chinese place. Not much room to eat in but I still manage to whenever I want.

The place to go for take out Chinese food. The general tso’s chicken is always nice and good. Not to spicy, just plain good. Inside isn’t much on décor, so dining in isn’t advised.

Not real impressed with the food… sorry. What I was impressed with was the way the gentleman behind the counter kept his cool with a very rude and nasty customer this evening. She was very condescending to him and would then look around at people waiting for orders as if they should agree with her or something. She was with a male companion who suggested that she calm down without success. During the entire time the poor guy behind the counter remained calm and courteous.

I have eaten here maybe 15 times, and it’s usually pretty good. That is the only reason I give it two stars. Tonight, my food was 100% inedible. The rice was mush, the orange chicken was so dry and burnt, and the crab ragoon was fried to a crisp, and the insides rubbery. It was absolutely awful and all went into the trash. I plan on calling in the morning to make them aware of the situation.

This is a take out joint with a few tables in case you want to eat your take out food in the waiting area. The order taker has no idea what you’re saying so you better know what you want.

Usually the food is good. The reason I didn’t give it 4 stars is that more then once the won tons in the soap were soggy/soft and the egg rolls tend to be a bit greasy.

Best Chinese food anywhere in the area, I order from here all the time, usually order the sweet n sour chicken, chicken lo mein(no veggies), and chicken on a stick. ALOT of food for the money, I could easily feed three or four people and have some left over!(I know because I have, and that includes two teenagers!) only complaint I have is the last couple times I have ordered it the chicken on a stick was kinda dry, sorta jerky-ish. They never have a problem with special orders either(note the lo mein no veggies).

Good food. Fast service. Consistent quality. Affordable. Be nice to actually have a Chinese restaurant in LaPorte not just a take out place. I would be a regular customer. The crab Rangoon is awesome. I miss my Yen Ching in Fort Wayne, IN so this is the best LaPorte has to offer. Clean establishment. Polite staff.

The cashew chicken is delicious. Try the fried rice with extra egg – you won’t be disappointed.
