This store’s pretty big, they have a lot of items, if you take your time you can find hidden gems, they have good food, fresh fruit and veggies, I always come here for every day necessities, you can find name brand items and you really can’t beat the price, make sure you bring your reusable bags!

This is one of the best 99 Cents Only Stores in the San Gabriel Valley as far as inventory. However, we have decided to take our business elsewhere. We spend over $ 200 weekly at this store(about $ 40 every work day) buying snacks, energy drinks, water, and ice for our work crews. We usually find what we need, and the employees are helpful. The big problem is the circus at the entrance of the store. Most days we find: 1. A lady in a white uniform asking for money for a drug and alcohol rehabilitation program. I would be fine with this if they were the only ones, but there’s more. 2. Today there were two guys selling candy bars at $ 1.50 and $ 2.00. The same candy bars that you can buy inside the store for $.99 cents. 3. Two dudes asking for change, including a young man that looks like Russell Brand and whom I’ve told several times where to find day work. 4. An obnoxious and aggressive lady selling tamales. She is there every single day, and she is actually the reason we’re taking our business elsewhere. It’s easy to ignore the others or just give them some loose change, but this lady will not take NO for an answer and has become a nuisance. I hope the store manager is getting a kickback, or at least some free tamales from this lady, because she is costing the store customers.

Of all the 99 cent stores i have been to this one smells the funkiest. It is the smell of low quality produce and dirty children. However i can overlook the smell and cherish this store for its intended purpose — providing cheap snacks and chocolate milk to satisfy my munchies:)

This 99 Cent only store has the best selection of most of its competitors! Of course the prices speaks for itself, but usually with these stores the produce section is really lacking, but surprisingly this location had a bunch of crisp apples, fresh salad bags, oranges. I definitely scored on my visit there, my only regret was not getting more!

99 Cents Store equals Convenient. This store is packed with so many items. It even has beer and wine. I came in today to buy some water and I ended up buying more than I intended to. When I purchased the items, I used a buy 3 get 1 free coupon which I received in those mailers they send out locally. I will be back here for many more items needed for our home.

If I could give zero stars I would. This is the WORST .99 cent store there is. The girl who stocks the frozen/cold foods speaks no english — and keeps all of the good brand food in theback for her friends and family, she will tell you that there isn’t anymore of something left but 2 minutes later she’ll come out from the back with what you asked her for and give to her friends — on top of that she will wheel a cart full of the good food that she never puts out and roll it right to someone waiting for it(her friend)… people stand around waiting for the cold food 3 times a week — I’m talking 10 – 20 people, it’s ridiculous– they bring there coffee and breakfast inside and wait for their friend to hand them all of the good food that you will never see come out on the shelf — 12 packs of yoplait yogurt, 3 lbs Oscar Meyer meat, bacon etc… Talking to the employees they are all aware of what she does, and says she won’t even hold one item for them– you will also see her texting people on her phone and then within 15 minutes several people come back to cold food section and that’s when she rolls the cart out already full of food. Another thing — they got new stockers and don’t put out any of the good stuff like they used too — I used to frequent this store 2 – 3 times a week but, never get anything good anymore because the employees don’t put it out on the shelves. It’s a waist of time!

I usually come to this 99 or the one on Gale ave. I was look for a charger, I asked the girl working and she just nodded her head and kept walking.(Rude). I ignored it. Once I got to the cashier the girl was a jerk. She just snatched my daughters you from her hand my daughter was trying to put it on the scanner. Anyways she once I gave her my money she just had her hand out with my change and said here. I asked her what was my change? And she said, «this». Some people are too ridiculous. Her name is Gabriela.(name on the bottom of receipt). The reason I didn’t give it 1 star is cuz I had family who worked here and I know the stores capability. But some people just don’t appreciate the fact that they have a job.

Convenient location for where I live, very affordable, and lots of goodies to purchase however, sometimes the store can be backed up with a lot of customer in line waiting to purchase their items, it wouldn’t hurt to have at least 3 register opened instead of one or two.

I love dollar stores and this one is great. Got lots of personal care items as well as produce. Its great that they sell good quality food here. I was able to make dinner for less than $ 10 probably even $ 5.

Probably my fave 99 store in the area because of the .79 cent cans of Sapporo I found there a few times. For serious! In the few years I was in Japan, Sapporo was $ 8 – 11 at bare minimum, and not much cheaper here in the states. They also have a much bigger selection of everything here than the other 99s. Did I mention the apple and plum wines for super cheap? They even tasted good. Nothing better than cheap booze!

If you’re looking for good quality products at a 99 cent store this is the one. They have more produce than any other 99 cent store in the area. The lines aren’t too long and the cashier that always helps me out(Jessie, I believe is his name) is very friendly and courteous. Also there is lots of parking!

I came in just to get one item, a bottle of soda. Just my luck, they had the Sierra Mist soda sweetened with real SUGAR. I try to avoid products tainted with HFCS(it is almost in everything with eat and drink now). The soda hit the spot, moments before I was a few doors down and had fish & chips(they only served fountain soda sweetened with corn syrup).

They have Tru Blu cookies here !! Been looking for these cookies everywhere including ElSuper and they didn’t have any. Going to be checking all the 99only stores to see if they all carry them ^_^

This location has name brand foods like Kraft, Betty Crocker, Uncle Ben, Knorr, and my fave El Pato enchilada sauce! Of course the inventory does vary weekly but most of the time they do have good name brand stuff! Produce here is actually quite good too! Definitively not as ghetto as other locations… worth a visit!

Perhaps it was due to the fact that I was visiting the day before Christmas, but this location seemed messy and crowded and there weren’t enough registers open. I was pleased to find a Happy Hanukkah banner, although Hanukkah had ended a couple weeks earlier. Not so up on the Hebrew calendar, there. Good things about this store: 1) Sparrows flying around indoors. Actually, I felt terribly for the sparrows and was really worried that they wouldn’t get out, but was amused nonetheless. 2) Mylar balloons for 50 cents! There wasn’t much of a range of designs, but take that, party stores!

for being a 99 cent store and their slogan being, «nothing over 99 cents» they charge you a whole $ 1 for each item and then they tax you off the $ 1. i’m probably like most people in that they dont like to get jipped or blind sighted. so with that being said, i will no longer be shopping at this specific store. i hope everyone finds this useful and this specific stores decides to wise up and change their evil ways.
