For starters this place is apparently closed. Tried going for the last three days. I loved the carne asada tacos here. I always got mine with just cheese and they were always good. The place did seem sketchy but it was good food. Too bad they are closed now. If I find out it was temporary I will post again.

Sought out this little hole in the wall because we were driving in the area and saw it’s high ratings on Unilocal, but ended up being a little disappointed with my meal. The beef tacos were much smaller than I had expected and were very plain without the onions or cilantro, so I loaded their bottled salsa on them. It would have been tastier if they came with some vegetables or sauce on them. Maybe I’m just spoiled by all the commercialized Mexican food and can’t appreciate it’s authenticity? I can’t complain about their sides of rice and beans though. They were pretty good. The restaurant did look a little sketchy with the bars all across their windows as well as their little order window. I guess they’re not located in the best area? And it would be more presentable if they fixed their soda machine or just did away with it since they sell only canned soda. Also, It was a little weird for me passing money through the bars and receiving my food that way too. I felt like a prisoner or something. Maybe I’m just being too harsh. Maybe all the neighboring hole in the wall restaurants hold the same type of décor?

Did someone swipe the chairs from this place? Ambiance: A little run down. Bars on all the windows.
Seating: Little run down inside with old beat up Inside: oversized slightly dirty tables. One or two chairs per table when there should be four.
Seating: Two picnic tables. Definite target for the outside: trash trucks speeding down Valley. Food: Good size carne asada burrito that tasted good.
The carne asada tacos were very small but had a good size portion of meat.
Soda: Their machine was busted, so we ended up with can diet sodas. Kitchen: Kitchen area looked clean and food came up fast.
Price: A little pricy. Almost $ 20. for two burritos 4 tacos and two can sodas. Parking: Very Limited to about five spots in back. I think ya can park on Valley but with a 50% chance of getting whacked in the rear. Order: Was awkward. Since it blocked the view of Window: looking at the cashier. Service: Waitress had no personality, not even a smile, she basically took our order and walked away. Cook was super fast Why are they so infactuated by Rambo? I didn’t see him their making the tacos!

One of the best tacos in city of industry. Must try. finally hot sauce thats actually hot. If you dont like spicy remember to ask for the sauce on the side. the meat in the tacos are nice and juicy. its a hole in the wall type of joint so if you have more than 4 people with you, you might want to get the food to go.

Rambo’s in the City of Industry is probably in my opinion the best out of the three that are out there. You have the first in Baldwin Park, the lunch truck in Eagle Rock and now in Industry. The food at Rambo’s is good and better than the Baldwin Park store. The meat choices are good. I prefer the Asada, Al Pastor, Lengua and Cabeza. All good and all better with the salsa! If you love Rambo’s and are in the La Puente/Industry area, come here at scarf down some tacos!
