Rick’s Liquor

I do not and will not recommend this place to anyone. It is outrageous the way they treat customers. They have at least 3 people behind they’re bullet proof glass and the moment you walk in they begin to follow your every move. This is not an exaggeration. They follow you isle to isle. Looking at you seriously they begin to talk to each other in their native tongue and then they all look at you.
The best and realistic picture I can paint for you to imagine how they are, is to compare them to the Asian people from the movie, «Don’t be a menace from South Central». If you’ve never seen the movie, YouTube it. It’ll be there. F.Y.I. I’m a mulatto
I repeat! I am not exaggerating. I would almost invite you to go into the store and you will notice it immediately.
To top it off, they are expensive for being a liquor store surrounded by many other liquor stores and big name grocery stores.
When I went to pay for a candy bar the lady kept talking in her language and then the other woman and man looked at me at the same time. She then looked me up and down to check if I wasn’t hiding anything. I was piss! She gave me my change and I walked out.
I do not recommend coming her for anything. They are overpriced and assume you are going to steal.
I would only recommend coming here for sociology majors or for a sociology project.

Ice is sooooooo cold here!

I use to go in here time to time when I’d go to meat market next door (they’ve been closed for years). Not sure if these are the same owners from back then, but it only takes ONE TIME to do something that will cause me not give an owner my business… yesterday was it. The lady looked at me like I had two heads and didn’t speak when I spoke to her. Then I gave her my money in her hand but she tossed my change on the counter. Wrong move chick!
That was the last time I go into this store.

Damn!
This place is expensive. Unless you live in the general area and need a quick beer this place charges way too much plus the owners are rude!
There’s a little discount store right behind it that sells nice stuff and the owner is really nice… I believe it called miscellaneous something. Well, they have no liquor, but they have snacks and other things that help you out while waiting for laundry… nice clothes for kids too!
