Asada tacos are fattie did not enjoy them at all however, I order a carnitas sope and damn it was soooo Gooood! First time here but, I will come back the cheese quesadilla was really good. This place was packed and everyone was eating soup so, it must be good. It’s very affordable and the people are really nice. I’d recommend it to a friend an I will! Bring cash because debit cost a dollar to use. Enjoy!

Great speedy service, choice of yummy extras like jalapeños and grilled onions– gratis! Best meal deal around less than $ 5 for a meal including drink! You just can’t beat that. My faves are al pastor and chorizo. Happy noshing Ps: no, this is not a fancy place, so don’t head in expecting the Ritz. It’s a taco joint ppl!

Tacos aren’t the best but not the worse either. Def not my fave item fm here however my hubby does fancy their asada and tripas. I will only eat their carnita tortas which aren’t too shabby. Sopes ain’t no King Taco but will do the job. Green salsa is aiight. I do have to say though that the ‘blonde’ broad at the counter was/is a total B****! Never once did she say ‘Thank you’ or even ‘You’re welcome’ after I thanked her(quite a few times) for my debit card back, receipt AND salsa. What a DOUCHE! Could it really hurt to be a smidge courteous, what a JERK? The older lady w/the dark hair who works nights is a hell of a lot friendlier. That is all. Good day.

I came here last night and got some tacos and asked for a little plastic bag to serve myself the pickled carrots. My sister noticed that there is a dead fly inside my carrot bag. I told the guy and he grabbed it from my hand and gave me a new bag like if I was gonna get more carrots from that infested thing. Totally disappointed how they handled the situation.

Food was okay, their customer service sucked though. Ordered food to go and noticed I got the wrong order when I got back to work, no biggie, whatever. After having to drive back, the moment I walked inside, the workers in the back start to giggle and whisper to each other. Apparently they thought messing up an order was amusing or something, at least they had my order ready the second time around

Would come back here if I was really craving Mexican food after 10pm. Other than that I’d pass. It did the job. Ordered a cheese quesadilla and they weren’t stingy with their meat. It was pretty good, defiantly not bad and a big portion.

Tacos are only $ 1.14 each, but they are small and don’t have much meat in them. Service is a crapshoot, depending on the mood of the lady at the counter. Try this place if you must, but there are better options in La Puente.

. I originally was gonna go to Boca del Rio(across the way from here) but since it was way to packed I checked out this spot. The meat was not good… I went ordered 1 burrito with everything on the side aswell as 5 tacos. I got my burrito and the tacos with NOTHINGONTHESIDE since it was to go I asked the lady who took the order of everything was in the bag. She with a «meh» attitude said yes and turned arround I get home and nada… Just the food and a jalapeño.no cilantro or oñion. Ither way meat was dry and tasted like if they can make money and stay open for as long as they have i should be a cook.

First time here. Ordered pastor burritos. Received asada :(I did not like neither pastor or asada. Siendo del DF me esperaba comida con saber de aya :(y lamentablemente no me supieron rikos. Les falta una salsa mas pikosa y la verdad el pastor no sabe a pastor.

This place knows how to build a burrito at an affordable price with quality, full-flavored meat unlike Boca Del Rio which is diagonally across the street!

One of my favorite taquerias! I love that they are so close to home. I’d be here everyday if the«look! An Asian girl!» stares didn’t make me feel so uncomfortable every time I walk in. I hate coming in by myself. The stares usually come from their patrons. and yes, Asian girls like tacos, too! Anyway, tacos are delicious and cheap($ 1.09/ taco). My favorites are lengua and carnitas tacos. Perfectly cooked and juicy. Their tacos and burritos($ 5) have so much flavor! You place your order and grab your cilantro, onions, lime, and salsa yourself. I just wish they have agua fresca de sandia, then maybe I’d be here everyday, despite the staring. The place itself looks a little dated. but it’s in the heart of LP, so what do you expect? The place looks kind of clean. But who cares, their tacos and burritos are amazing!

I have been craving tacos lately and I wanted to try a different place in the area. I ran across this place while searching on Unilocal. The first time I came in I ordered asada tacos. The flavor was okay, but could have used a little bit more spice. However, they WAY over cooked the meat and it was dry. Fine, I decided to come back another day just to see if they were having an off day. I tried the al pastor tacos this time. These were really good! Great flavor. Full of meat. A side of grilled onions and chiles. I was happy. Moral of the story: skip the asada and get the all pastor tacos! :)

Not the best tacos but definitely hits the spot when I’m craving chicken tacos! 1.09 each which is pretty cheap! I would have given them 4 stars but it really annoys me when establishments charge to use ur debit card! They charge a $ 1.00 for each transaction, 1 whole dollar! Outrageous! That’s a whole taco I could of bought! Anyway that’s why I deducted a star… I hardly ever carry cash so its only once in a full moon like tonight do I ever find myself with a 20 in my purse. Service is quick and the people are nice! Decent tacos overall!

This place is across the street from Boca Del Rio and while eating my food here, I was wishing I had gone there instead… First, let me complain about the bitch that works here. Since they don’t have their hours listed on Unilocal,I tried calling to find out when they close. This bitch picks up the phone, can’t answer my question because she doesn’t speak/understand English and just hangs up on me. I call back later and the same bitch hangs up on me. Seriously, is there nobody there that knows English? And this must’ve happened a few more times that night until I had enough and just decided to go out there(–1 star). So I get there and see their hours: and luckily made it in time to try their tacos. I went with the tripas taco that some Unilocalers were raving about in addition to the carne asada and al pastor ones. Tacos here are hella cheap, but they are hella small so make sure you order enough. I did not like the tripas taco. They were greasy as hell and pretty nasty; too much of the intestinal contents… The other tacos were okay but man, that tripas taco really left a bad taste in my mouth. If I were to be in this area again, I’d probably go across the street to Boca Del Rio instead…

Although this place isn’t in the best neighborhood in La Puente, the tacos are good and well priced. The service, however, has room for improvement. I normally have to stand at the counter for a couple minutes before anyone acknowledges me. It typically takes between 5 – 10 minutes for my food to be prepared. The tacos are outstanding in comparison to the other establishments in the area. I feel that they use a better cut of meat than most. In short, don’t let the area or quality of service scare you off. The tacos are worth it.

So I’m a fan of street tacos, and whenever my taco empty light goes on this is where I come since it’s nearby. Would say it’s the best around where I live. Staff is actually super friendly, and I always go with the Carne Asada — maybe mix in Al Pastor here and there. I always get it to-go, but I would recommend eating it there while it’s fresh since it does get a little soggy. So if you want OPTIMAL taco pleasure eat it there, otherwise take it to go if you in a hurry.

The Unilocal did not fail us with this find. Thank goodness because my friend and I were a little scared. The tacos were really good, though. I’m a white girl from TX so what do I know about authentic Mexican tacos? Absolutely nothing. I just have what we have in Dallas to compare. And by golly these were some of the better tacos I’ve had. This was a great cheap find! Bonus for having Coke in a bottle.
