Great service! We got super late And The chef And our waitress (Nancy) Made a wonderful job For us And my friend that comes from far and was visiting. They Managed to pull off our dinner And For a friday night in these times of lent we couldn’t ask For more The micheladas, shrimp tacos And ceviches are by far THE BEST everything tastes great even For our picky taste. You gotta try this place

So I love mariscos and I’m very particular about the places I go to (quality, portions, etc.). Long story short: This place is so good! The waitress wasn’t great at all though. It was like she wasn’t there. So I’m just going to say that she wasn’t. Besides her this place definitely deserves 5 stars. The shrimp tacos were so freaking good. So was the shrimp cocktail was so good too. I’m definitely coming here again.

My first time here I had 2 fish tacos and a tostada d pescado theBOMB I recommend this place, there was only 2 waitress for all full tables we waited for a few minutes to order and get our food but it was worth the wait.

My family went for dinner to try the tacos. I had 1 of each and I give them an average rating. I wasn’t excited and probably won’t go back unless someone else is paying. Slow service and dull atmosphere with a boring menu.

The shrimp tacos were the best we ever had (this was consensus of our group of five). The server was helpful and attentive. The beans had a nice kick.

Great food and awesome service! Their Fish Tacos are delicious! Wife had a coktel De camaron and she loved it! If you want something fresh stop here!

They have beer now and added new dishes to there menu I recommend it and tee prices are fair

Took a date here yesterday and based upon all of the reviews on here I thought coming here would mean me enjoying some great tacos with great company however, that was only partially the case.
Upon entering, we were immediately seated. It took a while for the waitress to come by but eventually she did and took our drink orders and brought us some chips and salsa. The chips tasted a bit stale and the salsa was horrible. My lovely date noticed a different type of salsa on another table and asked the waitress for some of it and we were given a ketchup bottle of something that looked much like the other salsa only it was a bit spicier and still disgusting. We were both equally disappointed with the quality of their salsa.
Now to discuss our tacos. She ordered two asada tacos and I did as well. I also ordered a shrimp taco just to try. The asada was pretty good and the tortillas tasted really fresh however, I did not care to much for the shrimp taco. I wasn’t a big fan of the sauce that they put on it.
Overall, the service could’ve been much better as we found ourselves having to continually flag the waitress down as well as the quality of their chips and salsa was mediocre. We were both equally unimpressed and will not be coming back. Thankfully, she didn’t hold this against me as I picked the place lol the 3 stars is only because we both liked the taste of the asada.
All of these reviews were excellent so maybe I came on a bad evening?

Just in case someone’s coming here looking for a Sports Lounge… you ain’t gonna find one!
I’m pretty far behind in writing reviews but if I remember correctly they have a pretty large menu but a large majority is Seafood, I ordered a torta and a taco, they give you free chips and salsa while you wait, I had two different salsa’s the first one they gave me was weak I believe it was this one
chips were fresh needed a bit of salt though, I asked if they had a better salsa and I believe this is the second one
which was nice and hot.
Taco de Pescado ($ 2.00)
As you can see before I touch it you’re already getting tortilla fail!, the fish was cooked nicely, batter had a nice crunch my only issue was the size of the fish was too small
had this been one of their $ 0.99-Cent Specials I’d not complain, BUT… 2.5-Stars
Torta Ahogada ($ 6.00)
They correctly use a Birote Salado which many places don’t, it’s got the look of a fairly Authentic Guadalajara Torta Ahogada, where they fall VERY short is the sauce
the tomato sauce is pretty watered down, and the chili there was NONE, NO spice at all. The birote was good and the Carnitas not bad but overall is falls short of what it should be. 2-​Stars
Maybe the Seafood is better, I shall return to give them a redeeming try.

Excellent customer service, buffalo shrimp is so good with French fries and their horchata is amazing.

Have been here a few times and have yet to be disappointed. Although it may look closed from the outside, it is definitely open for business.
The prices are fantastic and the food is excellent. We happened to stop in on $ 1 Tostada Thursday and it exceeded our expectations.
We see they are in process to get their liquor license and I’m sure we will be back for an ice cold beer with our fish tacos.

First time here for taco Tuesday. I tried 4 types, shrimp taco are the best! I will be back they are small but oh so tasty

The shrimp tacos from here are so delicious! Some of the best I’ve ever tried. Very tasty and flavorful made fresh with quality ingredients. Plus on Taco Tuesday they are only 99 cents! Great prices and great service too.
I definitely will be eating here often and becoming a regular.

TECATE! I love this place. My coworker recommended this place to me and it’s the best taco place I’ve ever been to! I love mexican food and Taco Tuesdays are the best for this place. It’s the best deal for tacos because the shrimp and fish tacos are only 99 cents!!! And they definitely DO NOT skimp out on the amount of shrimps and fish in their tacos. Their dressing is sooooooo delicious. I’ve never found another place that has such a good deal and with such quality. The only bad thing is that this place closes around 8 pm! Kind of early :(

We had come here previously when it first opened and their tostadas are bomb! We wanted to try their shrimp tacos because today is Taco Tuesday 0.99 can’t really beat that! Was so good and the salsa I loved! Will definitely be back to eat! Great service and food was ready for pick up when I got there.

Did not want to stand in the fnn long ass line and taco nazo, then I found this place .idk what this place was trying to be before, On Unilocal it’s under sports lounge but the new sign says tecate mexican seafood. the tacos are lightly breaded which means you can actually taste the shrimp not like taco nazos. Give it a try and be patient people. Ps and for the girl who doesn’t like seafood, why the f$&k do you even step foot in a place that serves mexican seafood, ayayay

Taco Tuesday are always great here, the sampler is very delicious. Favorites include «The King Cobra» burrito and Aguachiles Shrimp. Love this place, very friendly atmosphere. Great quality food and reasonable prices.

Tecate baja is about 2 miles from me. On a Tuesday they have a 99cent fish/​shrimp taco special ! Soo I decided to give them a try! Called a carryOut order in and told them I would be there in 20 min.
I arrived and my order was just finished. They also gave me some tortilla chips and some bean dip added which I thought was Kool of them.
Get back to the office started grubbing on the Tacos! BOMB! Fed my employees with bomb food for Under 20 $
Fresh tortilla chips and the chili been dip was really good!
I’ll be back next Tuesday for sure.

Although I did not have the opportunity to try out their food, I am Unilocaling about the good one of the owners, R.C., is doing in the community with an event I attended at Tecate Sports Lounge.
When I was visiting Cali, I had to make time to visit this place as I knew one of the owners. The thing I loved most about my drive out here was all the good Tecate Sports Lounge was doing in contributing to little kids’ happiness by hosting a toy drive. I believe the restaurant gave food vouchers if a guest donated a toy. At any rate, it was a generous thing to do.
I heard that this place makes all the food you order, well, when you order it. So have patience and know that the food you’re about to receive is not sitting around for days. Just something I’d like to mention.
If I am in the area again, I will give this place a go and actually sit down and have a meal. If you are nearby, give this place a try as I am a fan of any business that can give back to the community.
