Really miss their «Watermelon» flavor. I drive 2 hours from my house to get this yogurt often times! Great toppings, great flavors, quick and convenient! BRING BACK WATERMELON!!!

Yogurt tasted great, and all the fruit was freshly chopped and delicious! The place was very clean.

Just got the nsa chocolate vanilla swirl. I now have diarreah. Don’t know if it was what they substitute for sugar or it was old or contaminated. Not coming here again.

I have been going to yogurt island for years now and today was the first time that an employee has actually took the time out of their day to actually have a conversation with me. I was having trouble deciding which flavor to get because they tasted the same to me, but Raul was willing to taste the flavors even though he didn’t like the flavor (peanut butter). I really did appreciate his services. I was having a really bad day today but a simple hello and a smile goes a long way. Thank you Raul for making my day!!! :)

FAVORITE SELF-​SERVE YOGURT PLACE IN THE DESERT.
They always have plenty of toppings, and a variety of flavors. I have been coming here since they opened, and it has remained amazing.
The Cake Batter is amazing! Great staff, and perfect location! Beach House Yogurt doesn’t even compare.

Yogurt Island was so good they have many topping choices my favorite toppings were marshmallow cream and cookie dough you can even get an ice cream cone with yogurt in it.

The quality of the yogurt and the toppings is excellent. The variety of changing flavors always leave you with something that you will find and like. The location is always very clean. However, the two employees here aren’t very friendly and seem irritated when you ask them for help. I also miss the waffles that you used to be able to get. They were great for breakfast!

I’m not really sure what the big hype is about this place but I thought it was very average. We went on a hot day and their flavors were very bland and ordinary. The toppings selection was a little better but I didn’t think this place was anything great. The staff was nice and the place was clean but it wouldn’t be my first choice for froyo.

Well if I would have reviewed this place a year ago, I would have given it 4 stars! I hadn’t been here in a long while, as I am not a frequent visitor at another yogurt place.
I was really disappointed in the quality of the yogurt. It was very runny, and in fact the kiwi flavor was down right liquid! The place was HOT. The server was nice and explained the ac power had been off a few days. And they were working on it. But, still a miserable experience!

This place has gotten better. It went down hill for a bit, but it’s back up to par. its clean again and everything is great again…

we love coming here and getting our yogurt with the toppings that we select. Staff is very friendly. only wish they changed up the yogurt selection more often.

Charming and delicious — the two things that make a frozen yogurt shop great! A lot of flavor options from apple pie to classics like chocolate and vanilla. Dairy free and no sugar added yogurts meet your dietary needs. Plenty of toppings and sauces to choose from. It’s self serve so you can get as much or as little as you like. Great refreshing treat!

Great décor and prices. We are visiting here from Phoenix and frequent yogurt shops back home. We found this one to be particularly clean and the yogurt options were superb. The gentleman working the registers was extremely friendly. We’ve been twice so far!

They have dairy free options which is amazing! Lots of different flavors to choose from as well as sample.
Quite a large selection of toppings from dry, cold and hot.
The pricing is pretty cheap as well.
Great place to go for a cheat dessert and kick the sweet tooth craving without feeling so guilty.
It seems like they’re always playing Finding Nemo on their tv though.
They also have inside as well as outside seating.

Awh My personal favorite is yogurt island, they never disappoint with flavors and consistency! I’ve tried other yogurt spots and their flavors and it’s nothing compared to yogurt island! The la quinta location is clean, always stocked with condiments and cashiers are always pleasant. My personal favorite combo is vanilla cookies n cream with graham crackers crust, strawberries and cookie dough! delish!

Ok gang, so here’s the inside SCOOP (no pun intended) on this place…
This place was SPECIAL!!! It was GREAT!
At first I was a little apprehensive about getting their yogurt. The reason for this was because there was a woman who had the biggest legs I have ever seen and you know what they say «you are what you eat.» Being the researcher and food connoisseur that I am however, I looked up the nutritional content of Yogurt Island to find out and make sure I wasn’t eating pure crap, and to my pleasant surprise the yogurt that they had overall was rather healthy and light. Relieved by this, I grabbed a sample cup. The workers were very nice as they watched me pull the yogurt levers like a addicted gambler on a slot machine. The workers did not care, since my sample servings were of a reasonable size. (Kids don’t try this at home).
Lots of flavors were available which was nice and the toppings were plentiful! The store was very organized, and I found everything quite easily. The music in this store was also great. From hip hop to oldies, I enjoyed my yogurt like a happy go lucky individual without a worry in the world. I especially liked the layout of the store. There are TVs everywhere and the store has a nice wooden floor which reminded me of a cozy cabin in the woods.
All in all this place is highly recommended by yours truly. As hot as it is in the desert, Yogurt Island is a refreshing location. Do yourself a flavor, I mean a favor and come on in gangs!!!

YUM! Great frozen yogurt spot in the middle of the desert! This was the perfect place to cool off after a hot day. I tasted a lot of the flavors and everything was really good! Lots of toppings to choose from too. They have giant brownies you can put on your yogurt as well. I mean, if you’re going to use calories on fro yo anyways, might as well add a brownie right?

Very nice frozen yogurt place in heart of La Quinta, Lots of toppings for your yogurt. Basically you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner all for 43cent /​oz. Good selection of fresh fruit, lots of cereals, sauces and etc. My favorite was walnuts.
I would gave them 5 stars if I could find coffee or cappuccino flavored yogurt.

The raspberries taste old in my chocolate yogurt and they had just ran out of the old fashion granola
Getting a yogurt now. not what i thought it would be! Sorry to say this was not good yogurt at all even some of the yogurts i tried were runny and they had run out of Old Fashion Granola Topping so i was very disappointed. There are other choices even if you have to make a little bit further drive into Palm Dessert you are far better off…

Wow! If you want toppings, this place has got ‘em! They have at least 10+ different cereals (located in the nifty red dispensers toward the back) and lots of fruit toppings. Also, you have to ask for the whipped cream — very worth it!
There is nothing too special about their froyo flavors though… None of them were very exotic and most were just plain fruit flavors. They did, however, have pistachio, which is one of my favorites.
I love that I can stop here after a late dinner since they don’t close until 11:30 PM, on Saturday that is. I’m not sure about other days.
This place is popular w/​teenagers; when I walked in at 10:30 PM, the place had 10 or so guests still. Their dining area is very welcoming. There were flat screen TVs at a few of the tables which definitely made me feel right at home. They had Shark Tale playing when I went.
This is a cute little froyo shop. I recommend it!
