I wouldn’t even give them one star! Super rude associates and manager!!! In stead of returning a item without a receipt I have to go all the way to upland to do it!!! I will never shop at La Verne ever!!!

Went to Big Lots just to look around and they have alot of things the from food to furniture patio house hold items curtain rods (that’s what I was looking for) but they also have appliances blenders toasters Irons, but I just got a curtain rod for our bedroom, but I think that thi store us kinda smaller than some of the other store that I have been to. Although they are working on the parking lot and making it look nicer.

I give it three stars…
Pros
1) They have a good selection of grocery store items.
2) They offer frames for cheap compared to Michaels. Plus, they do offer a variety of craft supplies.
3) They offer a variety of appliances for cheap.
4) Holiday supplies for every holiday.
Con’s
1) Store needs updating. Looks run down.
2) Store is sometimes messy.
3) Could offer more of a selection for various items.

La Verne, CA

I like this Big Lots store in La Verne. It is cleaner and better organized than the one in Covina. Whenever I stop by here, I find myself picking up items I would have paid more in other stores. It is a fun place to shop for bargains.

This Big Lots is small and cramped. It is stuffed to the rafters with your usual BL fare, but it looks so dingy and ill-kept, that I doubt I’ll be returning to this one, unless I need something specific.

It’s PIC N’ SAVE!
Who remembers that? I’ve been going to this Big Lots since it was a Pic N’ Save. You can’t expect too much from a store like this, but it is definitely one of the nicer ones.
For some reason, this one does not have that awkward smell most Big Lots carry. I do have a hypersensitive sense of smell, but I’m sure I’m not the only one!
This Big Lots also has some of the nicest employees which tend to be older ladies!
The 3 stars are just because Big Lots is Big Lots; not like the have sales or coupons, What you see is what you get!
