LASTTIME I VISITTHISPLACE! Really bad service today I wished I filmed it. I walked in and there was people waiting and there was no host so we waited… And waited, no one acknowledge us so I stopped one of the girls. «Let me get the host» she said and she went to the kitchen(?) she came back and as she was passing by she said«15 to 20 mins» and that was it…

Yes it’s just a chain restaurant. But still. Food took more than half an hour from order to table, of five meals two had been under a heat lamp long enough for rice to crisp and sauce to skin over. Manager treated us like a problem when we complained, and when we sent one meal back as inedible taking it off the bill was treated as some sort of gift. Disappointing and crummy attitude.

Their kitchen is horrible. This was the second time we came where two plates where fresh and the other three plates had sat under heat lamps until the center of the food was cold and the top of the food was dried and congealed. The manager treated us like we where a giant pain in her butt. The waitress was pleasant. We won’t be back.

It’s our favorite Chili’s! Our family had been customers for over 10 years. Not a complaint worth remembering. Great food and good service; they made sure our drinks were always kept full. Our little one loves Heather the hostess! We have been coming multiple times monthly for both lunch and dinner because of this lovely young lady! Michelle is another sweet waitress that always took care of us. We got Kai today, she was very attentive to all the tables around us and so efficient!

Another golf team trip meal, very pleased. We always have at least 6 in our group so I never put much into how good the service is. But tonight it was exceptional. They were moderately busy however the service was on point. Dustin was our server; he was attentive and made sure our drinks were always full. We really like the bottomless chips and guac(we’re usually starving after playing golf). Dustin made it a point to make sure the chips were flowing too. I ordered the chipotle chicken tex mex bowl. Originally Dustin misheard me and had me down for some chicken tenders(I was in the corner furthest from him, probably my fault). When the dish came out I voiced my concern and within 5 minutes a piping hot chicken bowl was in front of me. Everyone else’s food came out timely and hot. My teammates steak was cooked to his liking and everyone enjoyed their meals. Not sure if/when I’ll be back to this side of the country but I’m glad we stopped in at this Chili’s and would do it again.

On 3÷16÷16, I took my son and daughter to Chili’s after my son’s baseball game. After being seated we waited for approximately 10 minutes without anyone acknowledging our existence despite all the servers and employees walking by our table. As we continued to wait a younger couple came and sat down next to us. A waitress then came and took their beverage order!!! Once she was done, she turned and left without acknowledging that we had been waiting for service… I am a huge chili’s fan and this is one of my children’s favorite eateries, but the horrible customer service and the complete lack of consideration left a very sour taste in my mouth!!! I was so upset by the service that we left without ordering and went to eat at a competitors eating establishment!

My favorite restaurant. Great food, drinks and service. #bar#sports#drinks I always go for the fajitas, Santa Fe chicken salad, and smoked chicken quesadilla. The presidente margarita is the best.

Terrible service and the hostess is obviously not well trained. Came in for dinner and waited for the hostess to come back to seat us. Another party of three walked in behind us and the hostess didn’t even bother ask who was here first and seated the other party? My fiancé told her politely that we are a party of two but she still seated the other party anyways. Will definitely not come to this location again.

Something has definitely changed at this location. Went on a Thursday night. Sat in the bar. Service was good considering the poor guy seemed to be handling the bar area by himself. Ordered Corona… they had run out earlier… seriously! Then go to the local liquor store and stock up! Chips and salsa… always my favorite and were great-probably the only thing I will come here for in the future. Ordered the 2 for 20 options… what was that piece of meat? Tasted and had the texture of liver-disgusting! Both of us had a form of the«steak»… Ewwww… seriously gross. Won’t be back to a place I frequented twice a month.

This is one of my favorite stops in La Verne but something changed. Came in during lunch time and the service was slow. It was so slow that when our food was served, it was cold! It was tasty but cold. I also ordered a salad and that was one of the oldest looking and tasting salad I’ve seen. Browning on the lettuce and the carrots tasted refrigerated and old. I ate what I could but this place needs to get back on its feet. There are times when I feel like Chili’s is the right spot to head to. It’s the casual vibe that’s pulls it together nicely. I’ll be giving it sometime before I head back.

Big bummer! Me and 5 other colleagues stopped by this past Sunday. We had about an hour or so to eat, only to be told there would be a 35 min wait. In their defense the hostess cited the fact that they were understaffed. Hmm, not a big deal if the place was full but there were plenty of tables open with a rather empty parking lot to boot. Hence the title«big bummer.» As a result, we had to go somewhere else and certainly missed out on their prime rib tacos. However, the real loser of the day was Chilis as they lost out on about $ 170.00or so because the staff didn’t want to hustle a little and take on a big party. Smh

Okay I work in a restaurant and all of these reviews can most likely be answered with this post my friend wrote. «To the people who have never worked in a restaurant: 1: if you only see 1 host do not expect that your table for 12 can be put together in a matter of seconds 2: if you see open tables that doesn’t mean that there shouldn’t be a wait. Usually when there’s open tables it’s because there isn’t a server in that section, the server in that section is taking more tables then they can handle or the kitchen has 40 minute wait times on food. 3: there is always a reason a host will start a wait. We aren’t doing it to make you mad, and if you don’t want to wait then sit in the bar or leave you really aren’t hurting our feelings. 4: don’t get butt hurt if a host isn’t up there in the 2 seconds you’ve been waiting, it’s probably because they are bussing tables and helping the servers so that when they come back you can be seated instantly. 5: if you complain about the table you’re sitting at don’t expect to be seated where you want immediately, the hosts do rotation so that everything goes smoothly, they aren’t sitting you in that table because they don’t like you, they are sitting you there because that’s how rotation works, and if rotation gets messed up because you see a table across the restaurant that hasn’t been sat but you want it, realize that server probably just got double sat or even triple sat and has 6 other tables they have to attend to so don’t get mad when you don’t get the service you expect. 6: usually on a Friday, Saturday night restaurants are pretty busy, so always expect a wait and if there isn’t one chances are you’re lucky. 7: if your server has a full section(usually 6 – 8 tables at a time), and is taking parties of 6+ it usually means they are attending to 48 people at a time, so if your drinks have been filled in a timely manner but your chips and salsa have still not been filled give them a few minutes you aren’t the only people they are trying to make happy. 8: if your food comes out wrong, cold Ect, don’t blame your server. Say something and let them know. The servers don’t cook the food so when there’s something wrong with it it’s not the servers fault(unless they accidentally ring in broccoli instead of French fries) or something but usually it’s not the servers fault and usually on a busy night, food runners run your food so they have no idea what you ordered they are just bringing the food out to your table to help out their co worker. 9:don’t yell at the food runner about your food being wrong, let them know politely if there’s something wrong, you can get a lot further with kindness then being rude and angry. 10: it’s Christmas time, so everyone is doing their best to save their money, but tipping 10 $ on a check of 150 is so insanely rude, if you don’t have the money to tip decent then don’t go out to eat. The servers aren’t working their ass off for you so that you can tip them under 10% they have families and friends that they would like to get Christmas gifts for too. 11: in most cases your server is working their asses off for you, getting refills for tables, appetizers, splitting checks, running food, bussing, clearing plates, and in the back constantly doing side work, running dish, making the strawberry lemonade you love so much, refilling ice Ect, they never have time to use the restroom sit on their phones or sit down and take a break, they are CONSTANTLY doing something and if you are sooo ignorant that you can’t see that than please sit yourself at home and eat a TV dinner. 12: I understand that there are pretty terrible servers and things do get messed up but in a lot of cases there are a lot of good ones who work so hard and don’t get recognition for it from angry customers and if you’re someone who is constantly complaining about things I hope this helps you realize what things are really like, and if you still don’t understand please try and work in a restaurant for 2 weeks and let me know what you think »

I called in to see how busy they were before we went down, as our time was limited. The hostess suggested that I put in my name over the phone, and it would be about a 15 minute wait. When I arrived and checked in, the same girl tells me the wait would now be 45 minutes!!! They totally ruined my plans for the night. On top of that, the service has been horrible over the last 3 visits. I’m now finished with Chili’s!!!

My family and I came from a car show near by and stopped in and sat at the bar. There seemed to be regulars that were known by name and got quick service but my family and I got poor service and didn’t not get all of our food or any refills till we were ready for the bill and ready to go. My wife is in the restaurant business so we understand things can happen but because of this we will stay away from this chili’s

My family and I love this place. We only had one really bad experience here. But it has yet to happen again. Rebecca is a super good waitress we love her. The one time it was bad we didn’t sit at her area and I think they were short of help in the kitchen. We gave the waitress a really good tip and paid for a drinks. But an hour later with our food done they said they’ed pay for it. We told them no that I didn’t want it… But like I said that was one time it took me a few months of brooding to get over it. But we went back and sat in Rebecca’s area and everything was great. :)

Wow this place has gone downhill. I gave two stars for the manager ONLY just because he was so understanding. My grandma and I went here last week, once we were seated we never saw our waitress. It as about 10 minutes(not busy and a weekday) and almost got up and left. Finally we flag down our waitress. She takes our drink order and we put in an appetizer. We tell her just a moment for the food order. big mistake. Another 10 minutes and no appetizer, no drink, nothing. We flag down the hostess and ask for our waitress. She comes back with drinks, no appetizers. I almost tell her never mind because by the time she brings it our food will be done. Keep in mind it is chips and salsa. not complicated. She apologies and immediately puts the order in and takes our entrees. Much later we get our food which was mediocre. I got a burger and my grandma got steak. We NEVER saw her again, not even a check up on the food. We even had another waiter check on us. He was even being sarcastic and rude to the couple next to us about their meal, I get it. sarcasm is funny but not about people’s food. Our waitress was kind and sweet NOTHING bad against her personally but it was awful service and we refused to tip. Now my grandma and I pretty much always do. But you know what servers feel entitled no matter how shitty their service may be. So now I feel you want a tip you gotta earn it. I called the manager right after and explained to him the situation. We aren’t cheap, and we didn’t leave a tip for any other reason other then the service. He understood completely and explained that is his policy. He said they understand they better have exceptional service for a tip. It wasn’t about the appetizer it was the entire dinner service. Hopefully service improves soon I love Chilis.

Was told the wait would be 15 mins… 35 mins later the clueless hostess said«our systems are down it will be another 20 minutes…» What does the system being down have anything to do with being seated? I know, it’s Chili’s but still, if your system is down LEARN to use pen and paper…

This place is really only great if you have no other options around and I can pretty mcuh always find someting better than Chili’s. That being said was invited here with family. I went for the quesadilla explosion salad, calling this a salad is insane as it is one of the items on the menu with the most calories, sodium and fat. The quesadillas were sad, limp and greasy, passed on eating them. The salad itself horrible quality, poor presentation. Service lacking, the long waits I don’t get what for. Prices too high for the quality that you get, not worth it.

I’ve never hated on Chili’s. It’s generally a good crowd-pleaser, and with a happy hour! But I just have never been able to like the food very much. No matter how exciting your entrée sounds, the food just tastes so generic and mass-produced. My bf’s son chose this place because they have little screens at every table where you can check out the menu and play video games. If a kid has choices and one choice involves video games, that’s what they will choose. It’s actually kind of genius for people who like distractions for their children, or rewards if they behave well in a restaurant. I ordered the Short Rib Enchiladas, he got the combination fajitas, and the lil one got the mac and cheese. We also got the fried pickles to share. The short rib was probably the most bland I’ve ever had, and the mac and cheese looked/tasted just like Kraft blue box. Everything was good, but not GREAT. However, the bartender and servers were very, very nice, and we weren’t rushed. Chili’s might be a good go-to for your grandparents, your kids, or a group that can’t decide, but there are a lot of good food options if you want amazing food in this area.

Not bad for a quick lunch with the coworkers, however our orders got messed up and our bill was wrong twice! We all opted for the Lunch combo specials $ 6, $ 7, or $ 8. House Salad with Citrus Balsamic Vinaigrette — pretty good staple salad, however the dressing tasted like thousand island, and was very thick. I’m glad they put the dressing on the side, I just drizzled the salad very lightly with it since it was very strong. Half Margherita Flatbread — it wasn’t cooked all the way through. They messed up my order because my coworker changed her Margherita to chipotle chicken and so the waitress changed both of our orders instead of hers. Out comes the flatbreads and they give me chicken, and I told them I didn’t order this. The manager, I assumed, was serving us our entrees, so she took it back, talked to the waitress and confirmed that we had two chicken flatbreads… never the case, since I am vegetarian! Everyone got their meal and I was waiting for mine, but it came too quickly in my opinion and I was right. The pizza wasn’t cooked all the way. The center was uncooked and so I ate the edges mostly. I didn’t have time to send it back, had to get back to work, and didn’t want to be the only one eating after my coworkers finished their meal. **Note: also DON’T play with their cool touch screen monitors at the table, it charges you 99 cents every time you do a trial game play or accidentally click on something you didn’t know about. Just use the old fashion paper check and order your meal verbally!
