I’ve been to several dentists. Let me tell you, this dentist is friendly and good at his job. He doesnt make you feel bad when you get a cavity. The staff in the office are also friendly and do a great job cleaning. I would definitely recommend this dentist.

I’m terribly behind on this review. Dr. Takamatsu was our dentist for several years. Always meant to review him, and now, as I just visited my new dentist in Texas, I remember that I had not written a review.
So…here it is.
Let me clarify something about me: I hate going to the dentist. You know the smell of the dental office? Makes me panic. Seriously panic. Weak in the knees. The idea of making a dental appointment makes me feel nauseated. I’ve had fillings, root canals, crowns, and I have horribly sensitive teeth. I brush like it’s the second coming and it doesn’t seem to matter much. My husband thinks I’m crazy, and he doesn’t say it. But it’s a visceral reaction.
And yet I still went in for my bi-​yearly appointments here without too much cringing. I even drove myself.
It’s because Dr. Takamatsu and his staff are so nice and reassuring. He works quickly and checks in to make sure you are okay. He isn’t one of those dentists that pushes unnecessary work. The office doesn’t do all those bogus charges like other dentists and they don’t require you to pay hundreds for pointless expensive cleanings that aren’t covered by insurance. In fact, I ended up at Dr. Takamatsu because I was getting a second opinion. Instead of a $ 1200 deep clean and possible root canal that was barely covered by insurance, Dr. Takamatsu’s office told me a regular clean was fine and that I just needed a filling fixed.
And they were right.
The office runs on time and bills insurance correctly. The hygienists were always nice. They checked carefully for thyroid and other neck/​mouth issues.
Ya know, when I think of the places that I am terrified to go to, this might have been my favorite. (You dental-​phobes know what I mean.)

I have been going to this office for years, even before Dr. Takamatsu took over the practice. I must say that this is the best dental office that I have ever been to! I don’t even live in the area any longer and I will still travel to this office for the quality, friendly dentistry they provide. Highly recommended.
