If I could give them negative stars– I would. If you don’t want to read the novel that I am about to write– here’s the summary: STAYAWAY! DONOTHIRETHESEGUYS! I hired Swimplicity on my parents behalf. Their home was on the market and the buyers wanted to have a pool maintenance crew in place when the property was handed over. What a mistake it was for me to hire these idiots. My parents no longer lived in the home– it was vacant– so on the contract I had outlined that the billing address was not the same as the service address. I even went over that on the phone when I initially hired the guys. After a month of «service» the pool was green. Unacceptable. We(myself, my parents, and the buyers) were displeased. So I fired the guys. First– they left a note for the buyers that they had been«servicing» the pool and wanted to continue doing so. Um, hello! They didn’t like you guys either! Second– they never sent a bill. Ever. I thought maybe that was because they never even bothered maintaining the pool– hence the green. Third– I get a phone call from a collections agency saying that I owe them money. I asked where they had sent the bill. To the service address. URG! I told the collection agency to talk to them and tell them to resend the bill to the appropriate address– which I had told them multiple times– in writing. They said they couldn’t communicate with Swimplicity– that I had to pay thru collections. So I call Swimplicity to let them know the problem and hopefully clear it up. They sent the bill to the wrong address. I asked that they send it to the proper one– which they said they would. Cut to two months later. The collections agency calls me again. WTF! I call Swimplicity back– I’m angry and I want them to know it. They say that they remember me. They had talked it over amongst themselves and say that I need to pay the collections agency. Let me get this straight. You send the bill to the wrong address. Then you don’t even call to inquire about the unpaid bill that was sent to the wrong address– instead you send me to collections over your mistake. When I call you about it, you say that you’ll resubmit the bill to the proper address(but you never do). Instead you decide to let collections handle it– even though every mistake that has been made up to this point has been yours. You’re paying more to the collections agency than you would be getting from us anyway! I would be shocked if you continue to be in business. You took advantage of the fact that you were working at a vacant house thinking that no one would know that you weren’t servicing the pool. Your complete lack of communication with me throughout this entire process has left me to believe that you are nothing but sorry business owners who know nothing about how to own, run, and maintain a company.

They seemed good at first, but installed a skimmer that has caused numerous problems and will never return our calls, no matter how urgent they are. When we do manage to speak to them, they say they will come over and never do. Although we paid good money for the services they rendered, we suspect that they no longer follow up on us because we declined their regular pool cleaning service.
