Absolutely disgusting. Was not in the room for a full five minutes before killing a spider in the bathroom, a spider on the wall by the air conditioner and picking up a dead roach by the trash can under the sink area. The carpet was stained and crunchy feeling and it smelt like death. Checked in and checked out in a total of ten minutes. I understand the concept of budget motels when you’re on a whim but trust me, this isn’t it. I went one miles down the road, paid an extra $ 10 over what Days Inn was charging and got a nice, clean, BUGFREE room at the Isle of Capri

There was a massive cockroach or something of that nature in the bathtub and the whole place smelled incredibly bad. It’s a 61 dollar stay with a Costco card but I would have paid a little bit more to stay somewhere I could have used a restroom.

If you are looking for a cheap stay, this is it. We have used this hotel around 10 times or so when we go to Lake Charles for some gambling and there are no rooms available at our casino. It is very cheap and you get what you pay for so do not expect anything fancy. The beds are comfortable and everything else is pretty decent. Some rooms need a little bit of help but they are not deal killers for the price. One of the times, the toilet flusher knob was broken so it was a little hard to flush the toilet but it was not a big deal. I also really like this hotel because it is the closest hotel to Capri Casino(literally across the lake) and the price is great.

This is pretty much a typical motel. Nothing fancy inside; a few stains on the carpet(not blood or creepy things) that had been cleaned over; mediocre continental breakfast; mildly comfortable beds. It should be noted that this is located directly off the highway so there’s related noise all night and day. At the price, which was very low, it’s about all you can expect. It is located next to Steamboat Bill’s which is a great place to eat, so that makes it kind of convenient at least.

We used this Days Inn as a way point on our trip to New Orleans. Before you decide on this place bear in mind that it is located right next to the highway, so don’t stay here and write a bunch of smack about how the road noise kept you up… thats what alcohol is for! Anyway, front desk lady was friendly and helpful. We had a remote control that the batteries were dead in and she promptly replaced them for us. Room itself was ok, bathroom looked like it had just been redone. Bed was comfortable although they need to get the right size sheets for a pillow top as the corners kept coming off with the smallest provocation. Otherwise a decent, if slightly noisy hotel. Good for a one nighter.
